Good info on how to make the shirt. I recently subscribed to this channel. I thought it was great that he went over the jingle dress and the history of it. But he didn’t really get into the story of the straight dance. Disappointing. Maybe he did on another episode.
My mom was a "see, cut, sew" person too. And everything fit. I need more of a pattern to use.

Yes, you can do it. As Juaquin suggests, start off with inexpensive material. It's okay to make mistakes when learning.

Im not indian but i made my first jingle dress my husband has chicamauga cherokee and shawnee indian background 😁
