I like at the start of round 4 you walked through the flames and didn't get burnt.
Actually that's the system's autoset, all you gotta do is to jump over the first couple groups of flames, and stay in the same lane, Do not move up and down anymore, not matter you got beat by the ememies or not, always stay at the same lane. if you move up and down, then you'll got burned again, sometimes just curious Why Capcom set game in that way....:)

This isn't the official arcade version. In the 2nd group of flames he would have kept getting burned. Also, on the arcade version right before you get on the elevator more Andres appear, regardless of how many enemies are on screen. There is a lot of more differences on later levels too, but too much to list here.

Nostalgia is my weakness & nowadays games like this aren't made anymore.
Games are too complicated with stats & weapons to be fun.
Simplicity made games enjoyable in the past.

@@eminboztepe Hi buddy, after you jump over the 2nd group of flames, you needs to stop moving up and down and stay in the same lane, if you move up and down you'll got burned. You can use MAME Emulator test it. jump over the first couple group of flame and stay at the same lane will works perfectly :)
i grew up poor, and i get triggered when food doesn't get picked up in video games.
He just takes what he needs. If everybody would do the same, you wouldn’t have to grow up poor.

If you look at the character bios for these bosses it's amazing how small Haggar is (6'8" 308 lbs.) compared to them. Some bosses in Final Fight are well over 7 ft' and 400 lbs...with some over 8 ft. and 500 lbs.

One of the most beautiful games ever
One of my oldest gaming memories is playing Final Fight with my neighbor friend and repeatedly pile-driving every enemy onscreen. I'd never played a "fighting" game before that, and had no real understanding of combat but found the whole spectacle hilarious.
I literally did that once to a bully in real life and they never bullied me, or anyone else, again.

Great run! I actually hate pickable weapons in beat'em ups because they disturb more than they help (they slow down your attacks, and makes you more vulnerable to enemy attacks), especially with fight with Sodom (his swords don't disappear and he can pick them up again). The same thing was in Cadillacs and Dinosaurs with fight with Butcher.

Wow. This has been a favourite game of mine for 30 years or so. I just got back into it on the Pandora's Box recently. It takes me about 10 credits to finish. I didn't know this was possible!
I bought an arcade machine from a local manufacturer, and I insisted that this be on there. I STILL play Final Fight regularly to this day.
Mine too... I cannot remember how many 20c pieces I spent on this even with the continues bloody brilliant

over 2 decades ago, I loved this game, I spent a lot money to play this game, some time I didn't have breakfast, used that money to play game. that was horrible. but a good memory.

This is the first time i see someone does the "left-right punch technique" using Haggar… usually it is by Cody or Guy only (sometimes you can do three with Guy but usually it would end up with a throw…)
The way the player handles all enemies without stopping/limiting enemies on screen while he uses all the seemingly mundane attacks (jump kick/jump lunge but backwards) and mixing with Lariat/Grab busters (grab and jump + attack) to thin down enemies is quite a show of Pro techniques.
Thank you so much buddy. Ya, Mayor Haggar’s shifting only can punch once on each side, but at least it works. I used to doing this way: my right hand rapidly tab attacking button, my left hand just control the joystick and never pay attention to my right hand, works perfectly

Actually, Final Fight came before Streets of Rage. Sega made Streets of Rage to capitalize on the surging popularity of the Beat 'em Up genre at the time thanks to games like Final Fight, as well as offer arcade-like experiences at home on their own Genesis/Mega Drive system.
i think this is the best arcade ever.
Something I’ve noticed is, the suplex haggar does in this video takes off 66% of Andore Jr’s life bar on stage 2. This does not make sense to me as it never happens when I play. Generally the damage to enemies is much higher than usual. Curious.
My guess is that a. it might have been a different version of the game than yours, and/or b. that the parameters for such things were altered in the secret debug menu.
