I found the souls aspects really frustrating. I bought the game was having a great time got to the first big boss and died. I was like ok well that's fine the savepoint was right there. But oh no my potions were all gone and there was no way to get more.
I HATE how so many games have way too long loading times and performance issues at launch on Switch. I was looking forward to this game. Looks like I'm gonna wait for a few patches and a big discount before getting this.
This was a very frustrating review, yes the game looks like it has a lot of issues, but you keep going on about how much this isn't your kind of game. So why review it? Get someone else to review it. Every game should be reviewed from the point of view that you are the target audience, because anyone else wouldn't buy it anyway even if it was good.
Yeah... confusion is somehow a "feature" in China made entertainment. Ever watched a show from there? It gets convoluted and confusing very quickly. And most of the time you sit there scratching your head. Adding to that the missing explanation for mechanics. Was looking forward to the game but not like this.
@@Leondragon06 Yeah, I never play them is the funny thing. They just don't interest me as much as I thought they would. So getting buyers remorse. Ender Lillies ran well on it, guess it is the exception.
Same thing for me. So many games with performance issues really makes me regret my purchase of the Switch. Not even the exclusives are worth it now. I'll be going the emulation route for the next Nintendo console.
God F'ing dang-it!! Why release a game on the Switch if its performance is so bad that its headache inducing... especially if the devs plan to patch the game in order to fix those performance problems? In other words, why not wait to release the game until it doesn't have headache inducing frame rates... fix the damn game entirely and then release it. Either that or don't release it on Switch at all. I mean, if you have the level of knowledge of your average game developer, you should be able to tell ahead of time whether your game can even run smoothly enough on the Switch to begin with. Because if this game can't be patched/fixed, I would rather not have to wait so I can then just decide to buy a superior PC version for when I inevitably buy the ROG Ally, or even the Steamdeck if the Ally fails.

Texts in the game in portable mode are largely too small 😮 !!!
Everytime i boot the game i had to wait like 5 minutes to reach the title screen. I returned my copy to Amazon this is bullshit
I have a switch too and I am sorry to disappoint you but the problem is in the switch, I mean my fridge has more processing power than the switch

Patches are not going to fix the outdated piece of plastic that the Switch is.
Switch Up has a series of videos called "all patched up?" And they go back to previously reviewed games to see if they went back and fixed things up
@@Alexthelion93 The switch is in dire need of an upgrade, but Nintendo fanboys are still in denial.
When a reviewer fails to understand and enjoy a game, that's a day-one purchase for me. Thanks... This actually helped!
Ouch, I was looking forward to this. I'll wait for a few patches first.
Thx was thinking about getting glad to have listened to your review will save me some $.

You can.
Game runs perfectly on my pc.
this game also runs really good on my steam deck 😃
lol, you're not the target audience and don't even like it. So why review it🤦
Why do you have to play the piano 🎹 music😂
Tbh skill issue
I legit thought my game broke because of the loading screen...more and more the switch becomes a bad investment.
Use Switch for Exclusives get non exclusives on PS5/Xbox if ya have one of them.

Same when I played little nightmares on the switch I thought my switch crashed lol cause the load time was ridiculously long
