Used mainly for find roofing nails hidden in the grass. When roof shingles are removed they are thrown onto the yard below. I wanted to find and remove them so its safe to walk barefoot and also to protect the lawnmower from tire punctures.
I'm also looking forward to some beach treasure hunting and hope to find lots of coins and diamond rings and gold !!!

You could try taping a strong magnet to your shoes and walking around the area to find those nails too!

Framing nails so after hammered in there is a head to pull them out by. Electric fence not there primary use. I started with the Tracker IV. Its really not a bad little machine just not much depth. I like your video because it reminds me of something I wanted to do. I got paid to go pull nails out of Dartmouth college horse arena and I figured if a college would pay for that then probably the upper class and other people might pay to have post new roof clean ups done. Thanks 4 sharing

Those are Duplex nails for concrete forms or anything thats temporary. Bend them back with a Hammer and reuse them lol.

Oh I like your new gadget!! Wish you lived close by...I lost my soil thermometer a few years ago in the garden and haven't been able to find it. I'm sure it got tilled under at some point. Also, Park seed had the Ladybug tomato seeds on sale a few weeks ago, you inspired me to give them a try...can't wait! And as always love to see your kewl kitty!

Those rusty nails are electric fence nails for nailing the insulator on top of the post. Somebody has had a fence up in that area at one time.
