Interesting, I am trying Vibrant as well, but I had a pair of perculas that were 15 years ol, spawned regularly next to their anemone, though I am sure the larvae were skimmed or eaten. Now have 2 brand new baby black ice snowflake clowns, growing well and are happy so let's see how long they go for. Great channel. I would agree, I feed them Canadian Mysis, pellets, both meaty and algae and as an occasional treat bloodworms. I tend to stay away from brine shrimp as these are the McMeals of the fish world.
Robert Kings clown fish has a pair of wild caught darwans which are 29 years old and are still laying eggs so yes if look after well will live a long time
Clownfish will do well in any acceptable salinity for a saltwater tank. Between 1.021 and 1.026 is common depending on if it's a reef or fish only system. Some fish shops even run their systems at 1.019. Stability is the key factor, hope this helps.

My tank has been about 3 years old (fish and live rock only system) and my sailfin, my brown tang been doing well for all the years.... I just wonder why....
Can you list your recent water test results? What's your acclimating process for the new clowns? It could also be bullying, but clownfish are usually really tough and can hold their own.
I just got 2 clown fish from a local marine fish shop , and thought I would look at the salinity from there reef tank and it was 1.030 pretty high, my tank salinity is 1.024 , saying that the clowns are doing fine , I did get frozen brine shrimp to feed them on .
Thanks for the question! No, I would not feed that food to clowns or any saltwater fish. Flowerhorns are freshwater and have different diet requirements. The clowns MIGHT eat it, but it would probably hurt their health in the long run.
Oh....Saving Nemo! Unfortunately, the clownfish is now facing an even bigger challenge, climate change. Rising temperature around the world are bleaching in other words, killing off coral and sea anemone…. The habitats clownfish call home….
Its good that they are being captive bred, In the future they might end up like the axolotl, the wild varient of the axolotl is pretty much dead, but its still well populated in captivity. Which isn't great but atleast they arent extinct😅

mine will only eat crush pellets. Its a picky eater depends on the fish
