Crochet Squishy Stingray 🐠 Beginner Friendly Fidget Toy DIY

For my own reference:
With white yarn first.
Make a Slip knot.
Make 4 chains, start R1 with second chain from hook.
(After each round always ends with 1 chain and turn to left side, then start next round with second chain from hook)
R1: Sc, Inc, Sc (4sc), chain 1 and turn (to left side)
R2: Inc x4 (8sc)
R3: Inc, Sc, Chain 4, (Skip 4 Sc), Sc, Inc
R4: Inc, 8 Sc, Inc (12sc)
R5: Inc, 10 Sc, Inc, (14sc)
R6: Inc, 12 Sc, Inc (16sc)
R7: Inc, 14 Sc, Inc (18sc)
R8: Inc, 16 Sc, Inc (20sc)
R9: Inc, 18 Sc, Inc (22sc)
R10: Inc, 20 Sc, Inc (24sc)
R11: Inc, 22 Sc, Inc (26sc)
R12: Inc, 24 Sc, Inc (28sc)
R13: Inc, 26 Sc, Inc (30sc)
R14: 30 Sc (30sc), cut the yarn
Make slip knot,
R15: Skip 10 stitch, make 10 Sc (10sc)
R16: 10 Sc (10sc)
R17: 10 Sc (10sc), cut the yarn

Repeat R1 - R17 with second colour but do not cut the yarn. [During R3: Inc, 6 Sc, Inc (10sc)]
Use White yarn and needle to make dots and make it pretty.
Cut yarn, tie and secure.
Attach both with Single crochet around them, but skip the mouth part.
At the middle, do 16 chains to make Tail.
Skip 1 chain, do slip stitch 15 times.
Continue with Single crochet to the end of the mouth.
Cut and weave in the tail.
Add eyes
Sew the mouth.
Insert Balloon, blow, tie and secure.
Hide balloon tail.
DONE.

What balloons are you using that stay up, they all deflate within few days?

So I used a regular balloon. However, because there is a hole near the stingray's tail, you can blow it up again if the balloon is deflated. Thank you 😊
