I dont get the part in the instructions where is sais firmly press filter under tabs? My filter seems to float and dont want to break this fragile thing
I just bought this fountain yesterday. I was thinking the same thing I didnt know how much water to put in it, So i just filled it all the way. I guess I will pour some out now!

Thanks for the video , it’s very informative. I have plugged it in and waited 15 mins but the water is still not coming out of the top. Do you know anything that could have caused this?
By submerging the pump in water without the top, will the pump, pump the water up?
If yes, then the pump is working and u just need to align the tube correctly straight to the metal water dish.
If not, suspect mayb your pump might have issue or spoil. In this case u might want to check with the seller or purchase a new pump.

I noticed the pump itself has a little slide cover. I imagine it needs to be open for water to go in???
3/4 full? Is that above or below the filter? If the water level is above the filter, the filter is floating and I can't figure out how to secure it. I have the fancier filter, the second one he showed in the video

My filter floats to the top. Is this normal? It is alternative triple action filter.
I experience the same thing, both new and soaked filter. Happen more on new filter as i suspect there are still some air pockets that actually lifting it up. rinsing the filter 1st does help, but not 100%. Once i put the metal top on, it will be in place. No worries
This thing blows the setup directions are awful huge waste of money and time find something else
