I can’t explain how proud I am of Mingi for doing all of this on his own, with no other members, just him and all these producers who don’t even speak korean. I’m so happy that we finally got to see a little bit of his work and hopefully he will release at least one song in the future because his style is totally my style so I’m so excited to give it a listen

I'm just a regular person so I can't imagine how hard it can be having these issues and being an Idol at the same time. He seems to be fine and happy now, watching him spending time with other artists who don't even speak Korean, sharing moments and art, working so hard and smiling, all this makes me so freaking proud and it pushes me to stay strong and fight my own darkness. I'm genuinely excited to hear new music from ATEEZ, especially Mingi. I can't wait for a release of a full album one day that show cases his rapping. Mingi's rap is really unique in kpop, I've never really heard an idol rapper with a sort of raspy/husky tone that suited for rock or punk like Mingi's is. With the little snippets we've heard today in this vlog, I'm excited for the future of the groups music. ATEEZ and especially Mingi just keep impressing.

i feel like this comment is kind of assumptive. anxiety looks different for different people (who said he has social anxiety?) and we never saw mingi have trouble with those things on camera before (remember him confidently speaking english in that pharmacy in australia? he has always been outgoing while on camera) so i don’t think there’s reason to believe he struggled with them and overcame them as part of his mental health journey. i think we shouldn’t make assumptions about his health, it puts him in a weird spot because he can’t (and shouldn’t have to) correct misinformation about it. can we please just comment on how good it is to see him happy, etc., not specifically his health? health is very personal and really isn’t the kind of thing we should make assumptions about on the internet.
Anxiety is a little more complex than that 😂 it doesn’t really go away but you learn how to regulate it and what causes it so you can do that. Some people need medication (shoutout to my lexapro) to do this. Also anxiety is different for everyone! Some people have social anxiety which seems to be what you are describing where they are uncomfortable with large groups especially of strangers. I used to be like this but after taking medication I actually am very outgoing and want to be a teacher! I have triggers like too many overlapping noises and feeling out of control that make my anxiety flare up pretty bad now but I really enjoy being around people. I think a better way to speak about his progress is to say he has learned to manage his anxiety better and we are happy that he is back with us being so outgoing and confident 💜

Re-watching this again and again because of course that is the tendency with #MinGi's and all #ateez vlogs. For Atinys like me who's so far away from S.Korea this really allows me to get to know the artist & the person. Mundane movements, simple words, no scripts, no make up, so natural & stress free I guess? MinGi singing and rapping in his pure, raw voice is way more special for me - his voice is so unique & attractive! I can't seem to get enough nor will I even get tired of it. In his old 1-day vlog, it was a bit of song writing though muted then very sweet because he visited & surprised his mom - such a romantic! Knowing/hearing his mom's voice was so lovely to watch - truly touched my heart. This new 1-day vlog showed his love & passion for fashion ,music AND food!!! The style of your jeans reminded me of how I used to cut & redo my old pairs in high school because I couldn't afford to buy new ones, makes me teary-eyed somehow. Some people have social anxiety which seems to be what you are describing where they are uncomfortable with large groups especially of strangers. I used to be like this but after taking medication I actually am very outgoing and want to be a teacher! I have triggers like too many overlapping noises and feeling out of control that make my anxiety flare up pretty bad now but I really enjoy being around people. I think a better way to speak about his progress is to say he has learned to manage his anxiety better and we are happy that he is back with us being so outgoing and confident 💜
I have severe social anxiety but you can’t really tell when I’m in public cuz I mask it (unless I’m having an anxiety attack)
@@holleyalexandra1637 yes this is why i don't think we should assume anything from the video, mental health issues are more complicated than just "they seem okay, so they're better." sometimes people are very good at hiding when they are doing bad, or people may seem to be doing bad when really they are just tired, distracted, etc. he can act one way, but feel another way, mental health isn't visible to other people. it puts mingi in an awkward position to make assumptions that may not be true
i think he is ok with people he relates with and are genuine to him as well. I hope he gets surrounded by people who encourages him, appreciates him and uplifts him... Hwaiting Mingi...

Re-watching this again and again because of course that is the tendency with #MinGi's and all #ateez vlogs. For Atinys like me who's so far away from S.Korea this really allows me to get to know the artist & the person. Mundane movements, simple words, no scripts, no make up, so natural & stress free I guess? MinGi singing and rapping in his pure, raw voice is way more special for me - his voice is so unique & attractive! I can't seem to get enough nor will I even get tired of it. In his old 1-day vlog, it was a bit of song writing though muted then very sweet because he visited & surprised his mom - such a romantic! Knowing/hearing his mom's voice was so lovely to watch - truly touched my heart. This new 1-day vlog showed his love & passion for fashion ,music AND food!!! The style of your jeans reminded me of how I used to cut & redo my old pairs in high school because I couldn't afford to buy new ones, makes me teary-eyed somehow. Kumawo for your constant inspiration, saranghae Min Gi😭💜😇 you're such an angel... may God Bless us all always!
