You need 1 battery and foil
CORRECTION: Misleading statement. You WILL BE PAYING MORE THAN FOR 2 NEW BATTERIES.
Gluestick+tin foil+2 button cell batters+and shrink tube for electronics; Yes, you will be buying more batteries being 2 button cells plus you will need to pay for the tin foil at the dollar store and the glue stick bundle hopefully at the dollar store too. In all, you will have to pay more that you would for 2 new AA batteries already made inside a pack of at least 2 at a dollar bargain market plus tax for the state you are in but don't forget the shrink tube because tape is not going to work the same and they do not carry it all dollar bargain stores, you have to buy that in the electronics area or online. But it's nice to see you can make one from other batteries the wrong size and form and force them to work for your purpose. I'm not for misleading statements or click bait but can appreciate the positive intentions. Not everyone or even most people will have button batteries or shrink tube for electronics in their home junk drawers, although most crafters may find a glue stick and tin foil in the kitchen. Button cells have a much shorter lifespan when used in this fashion, as they do not possess that necessary mA hour capacity as do AA or AAA alkaline batteries. Works in a pinch, but, not for long.
And in my country I can get AA or AAA cheaper then this small...

They are not free! many have them at home and no one knows that you can use them like that ..
Those small batteries will make the remote control work for 1-2 days, compared to AAA batteries that will work for 6-7 months.

Ta zasada jest taka sama w pozostałych krajach, w Polsce też tak jest za cenę jednej lub dwóch baterii guzikowych kupię paczkę 4 lub 6 paluszków więc jest to bez sensowne takie robienie chyba że nie mamy bateria paluszków, a na czas zakupu to jest dobry ale chwilowy pomysł.

Lo tenés con los dedos hasta que caliente la pila,y ya está cargada ,no te da corriente a la persona ,proba.
