- What Is a Varicocele
Varicoceles are a relatively common condition affecting in young male, most of time, these varicoceles are harmless or no symptoms. But sometimes it can causes pain, heaviness, swelling or low sperm problems.
Normally, blood flows to the testicles by an artery and flows out via multiple tiny veins that drain into the testicular vein. The direction of blood flow in testicular vein up, toward the heart. Multiple one-way valves in the vein prevent the reverse flow of blood back to the testicles.
Treatment Options: -
A. Open surgery
B. Varicocele embolization (it is non-surgical)
Varicocele Embolization Procedure:-
Varicocele embolization is treatment required day care hospitalization. And done by specifically trained interventional radiologist makes a tiny nick in the skin at the groin or neck using local anesthesia and a thin catheter (tube) is directed to the testicular vein. With contrast dye injection, interventional radiologist map out exactly where the problem is and by using coils, by embolization, blood flow is re-directed to other healthy pathways. Whole non-surgical treatment procedure is pain less and takes about 30 minute to an hour. The tube is removed and no stitches are needed. Patients are observed for a few hours and go home the same day. Recovery from varicocele embolization typically takes less than 24 hours and patients often return to work the next day.
Advantages of Varicocele Embolization:-
The majority of men in the INDIA undergo surgery as varicocele treatment. This is because they are usually sent to surgeons for evaluation, and many do not know about varicocele embolization.
• It is as more effective than surgery.
• It does not require any surgical incision.
• A patient with varicoceles on both sides can have both fixed at the same time through one vein puncture site (surgery requires two separate open incisions)
• General anesthesia is not used for embolization (most surgery is done under general).
• There is complications rate is almost zero.
• It requires less recovery time. Post embolization patients can resume normal activities in few hrs.

Hola buenas tardes yo quiero contar una experiencia. Yo tuve dolores en la ingle y pelvis después se me inflamo un testículo sentía como si me pellizcaran los testiculos llegué a pensar que era una hernia, pero me hice una ecografia de tejidos blandos, y pelvis y no tenía hernia después empecé a investigar por mi cuenta las causas de esos síntomas y también a recordar que había hecho en los meses anteriores que podría haber afectado, después fui al urologo para descartar algún cáncer y pues gracias a Dios no era cáncer me hice otra ecografia de testiculos y me dijeron que era varicocele grado 1 lo q yo ya sospechaba pues ya había investigado y pues cambie mi alimentación mire como mejorar mi circulación empecé a caminar 2 horas en el día y hacer ejercicios que ayudan a mejorar mi circulación mi desayuno varios días fue ensaladas con tomate, lechuga, cebolla, pepino limón aguacate, 2 ajos machacados, arroz, huevos cocinados, de bebida avena en agua sin azúcar más bien alguna fruta y eliminé todos los alimentos que contienen grasas malas y empecé a consumir alimentos que sacarán la grasa y también deje de usar rropa demasiado ajustada pues yo estuve usando rodilleras q me apretaban mucho y no dejaba circular bien la sangre me causaba picazón y por 5 meses estube usandandolas y la alimentación era mala muchos fritos, después empecé con dolores me sentía mal porque cualquier movimiento o estar parado me causaba dolor pero gracias a Dios ya estoy bien, yo digo que Dios nos dejó todo lo necesario para cuidar nuestro cuerpo pues todo lo que Él creó tiene de su poder y propósito para nuestras vidas, solo que nosotros mismos nos encargamos de destruirnos con nuestra forma de vivir de alimentarnos y pues ahora hay demasiados alimentos creados por el hombre que tienen muchos químicos q deterioran nuestro organismo. Lo mejor es dejar de comer grasas malas, mermar la sal mientras se desinflama porque la sal irrita la inflamacion y aumenta el dolor a mi me pasaba., los dulces, mermar los aceites de cocina, lácteos, harinas, a mi me sirvió espero que con la ayuda de Dios a ustedes les sirva, en tan solo unos días se me quito haciendo esos cambios

Yes i did embolization dude. I suggest you .if you have higher grade varicocele like grade 3 or 4 or 5 and low sperm count, small size of testicle than don't do embolization guys. Because i did embolization i have grade 3 varicocele and small size of testicle. My discomfort and heaviness gone but still low sperm count , small size of testicle also facing erectile dysfunction problem .
