At what temperature did you cook?
    Did it leak smoke?
    Did it hold temperature well?
Did you compare the temperature on the dial with an accurate ambient thermometer?
How much of the fuel was consumed?
    Asking for a friend.

Would like to give that a try and add to my other Pit Boss’s. Seems a little pricy as it is more than quite a few of their pellet smokers that have all the components and electronics.

would you be able to flip the heat diffuser upside down and place the charcoal basket on top of it, or add a slow n sear type basket for more direct grilling style to get closer to the heat source?

I have this Pit Boss Champion grill. Its a solid grill. I have had it for 3 months and I am satisfied with the cooks so far. The only issue I have right now is to replace the gasket around the lid. What sold me on buying this grill is the charcoal basket swings open at the bottom. You can add charcoal and wood without removing your food. Temps hold steady for me.

I love your channel but we watch the video to find out how well it smoked the pork and you never discuss. Flavor, bark, smokiness? It’s not a review unless you discuss how well it worked.

Sometimes I forget to show the taste test part since we often forget to turn the cameras back on since we're not exactly camera ready when it's time to eat. I remember shooting some vertical content with the pork from this cooker, so let me see if I can stitch that together and put it out as a RUclips Short. I'll link it back here when I get it done so you can see it.

I have a 22” WSM. It is a great smoker, but now that I am getting older it is a pain to use, so I seldom use it. Did you mention the grate diameter?
I cannot justify this grill, but it looks awesome.

@6:55 it looks to be 21”, so pretty close to your WSM.

Man I’m really digging this. I wonder how it would match up to the Oklahoma Joes Bronco. The price is a little high compared to the Bronco

I got a chance to see the OKJ Bronco at a trade show 3 years ago, but I think it was the dealer version which is priced right around this model. The less expensive one I haven’t been hands on yet, but you’re right. Natural comparison.

You can get a bronco for less than 400. And oklahoma joe is better in every way. I'm curious about that diffuser tho

@@coyote8284I’m curious about the missing ash basket. Looks like a big mess. I have had the Oklahoma Joe bronco for a year now but still gets very messy trying to load charcoal and clean the ash basket.

Why they make you buy porcelain coated cooking grates. They chip easily and coating gets into meat. Horrible design choice by manufacturer. Overall, the quality is not impressive for the price. I'd pass.

As a previous Traeger+ user, switching to Asmoke was a game changer for me. The Asmoke Essential's smart design and ASCA™ technology not only improved my cooking results but also made the cleaning process much easier. The FlameTech patent truly delivers on temperature control, which I found to be more accurate than my old Traeger+. The ability to monitor the food's temperature and adjust it remotely through the app is a massive bonus. The most appealing feature for me, however, is the versatility. The fact that Asmoke uses wood pellets that come in different flavors has truly elevated my grilling experience. To top it off, it's portable and battery-powered, making it my go-to grill for any outing. It's not just a grill, it's a new way of cooking and I couldn't be happier with the switch. #Asmoke
