- Introducing our brand new hybrid steel AND aluminum overland front bumper for 3rd gen Tacomas. The Hi-Lite gets it's name from it's aggressive high clearance design as well as it's ultra-light weight construction, providing a perfect combination of function, style, and durability. Our bumper features a full 26lb aluminum shell paired with a 54lb steel winch cradle - totaling only 80lbs. We've specially designed this bumper to have the strength where you need it most while saving weight everywhere else. We built this bumper purely with the Overlander in mind - to offer a great looking, affordable, full protection, strong and lightweight solution.
Typically, bumpers are either constructed purely out of steel or aluminum. An all steel bumper adds significant weight to your vehicle, easily rusts, can affect your suspension, and can cause premature ware on a variety of components. And a fully aluminum bumper typically costs significantly more money and is usually not as strong as steel. The answer is combining the two.

Thanks for this video, I just received my bumper with the full bull bar and headlights surround. I can't wait to install it!
Heck yeah! We're super stoked for you. Thanks so much for the support
No laser? No leveling? No complications? I like the method of cutting.
might be the nicest one out there!
Thank you!
This might be a dumb question will the Morimoto 1 banger pod light fit?
Nice video seems complete and it showed me a few things about my truck I did not yet know.
I'll check your web site, but do you sell just the winch mount without the bumper? Didn't find it sold separately!
We don't unfortunately. We have to sell everything as a complete kit. We build everything 1:1
can you fit 3x3 light cubes in those fog light spots?....i know your website says 2x2 pathfinders or similar, but i already have some Baja Squadrons that are 3x3s on order.....didn't realize until today
Those will fit. We've had numerous customers run the Bajas. It's actually a matter of how the light is measured. Some people measure the outside dimensions (3"), while others measure the actual light (like a flat screen tv), which is around 2" for that style of cube LED.
I need one for my 2019 taco!
Get on it bruh!
I see you mention the bumper is ajustable ? I have a 1 inch body lift , could i make this bumper work?
Theres slots to adjust the bumper horizontally and vertically. We've never seen a customer with a body lift, but I imagine you would simply cut 1" lower on your plastic. We can't guarantee it will work because we haven't tried it ourselves.
How do these hold up against deer?
Depends on how fast you're going and how big the deer is. We have seen vehicles get totaled with huge, full steel bumpers and from full aluminum bumpers.
is that a badlands 12k winch... im thinking of going with this bumper.
It is
thanks

Do the running4tacos bumper caps work in lieu of cutting the bumper?
The strip under the grille, does that serve a purpose?
After watching the r4t video on the caps, it looks like those would be a perfect replacement and make for a cleaner look with this bumper, which honestly isn't to different from other similar high clearance bumpers
@@tuf_1041 ah yeah I saw that talon sei had the bumper caps and the backwoods bumper. Fits fine. I ended up just cutting my bumper, the plastic strip that’s left after the cut holds the fog light harness tho
@@its.mytacotime Cool! Def have been thinking about using this setup! Cheers!
Yes, these work perfectly with R4T bumper caps.
Do you guys install at your location?
We do not unfortunately, however if you visit our website, we have a dealer locator you can plug your zip code into to see what's near you. Have a great day and hope this helps!
Can you explain how you installed the light?
If you're referring to the lights in the bumper, there's a tab in the bumper where the light secures onto. And the lights usually have a bracket that goes with it.
