I remember playing with my dad on Namco Museum for the GCN, and I don't know how long we were playing, but it felt like it never ended, neither one of us got a game over for good long chunk of time and the fucking game just wouldn't end.
I played this a lot on my cousins' PS2 back in my youth. It was just that addicting. I don't remember how many times I faced off with the final stage's boss, but I do know that I beat him quite a few times. Good times.
Much as I love the Mappy and Pac-Man Arrangement games, the Galaga one is just too damned good for it's own good. Thank goodness it is on the PS2's first Namco Museum (with all but Mappy's arranged version sadly).
For fuck sakes after years of being in HighSchool, and 3rd year in college I finally find the game I played and loved as a child. I loved these types of shoot em ups like metal slug and such my god.
Jesus christ there is no time to catch your breath in this the galaga formations are all over the place this could make anyone who has performance anxiety spike through the roof
Me and my mom stayed up really late playing thru the whole thing one time. It was super fun.

In general it isn't super long and there is a final boss as well. Understandable tho

Unlike the arcade original this one has more variety and backgrounds and I has an ending. Same with others.

Ahh, Galaga Arrangement, the First Arrangement Game by Namco.
The arcade arrangements were all released in 1996 and their PSP/Xbox 360 counterparts were out in 2005
