When I was playing in the contemporary gospel group Truth, Phil did several concerts with us. He had a sweet spirit back then and treated us very kindly even though we were not playing at his level. Very kind man. I love to hear Phil mention Jesus and the Father when relating to worship. I get so sad to walk in so many churches today and hear songs that are so me centered. Phil’s worship is powerful because he truly uses his gifts to announce that God is in the house.
Psalm 150-Praise the Lord! Praise God in his sanctuary; praise him in his mighty heavens! Praise him for his mighty deeds; praise him according to his excellent greatness! Praise him with trumpet sound; praise him with lute and harp! Praise him with tambourine and dance; praise him with strings and pipe! Praise him with sounding cymbals; praise him with loud clashing cymbals! Let everything that has breath praise the Lord! Praise the Lord!
I always hear how certain music gives us negative thoughts and how we have to gaurd our ear gates, which is true i agree. However i never heard what Phil Driscol is speaking here on praise and worship, and the power of such music! Wow Amen! I can have hours long conversations on such topics and never grow bored. God Bless you my brothers and sisters in The Lord! Praise His Holy name! :) Hallelujah, Amen!

Holy holy holy Lord God of power and might... heaven and earth are filed with your glory!!!!!!... Jesus is exalted in Phil Driscol.....thank u Jesus for this mans ministry... what can we do but praise the Lord and worship Jesus.... what Phil said was exactly what i been feeling about todays praise music... it bears Gods name but its not annointed....i call hillsong to bear witness to the truth of God...every praise leader needs to listen to Phil Driscoll concerning there worship..the purposes of God are revealed when we worship Him in spirit and in truth not to mention what else God has..it upset Jesus when the pharisees offered vain worship teaching precepts of men..May the light of Gods goodness fill your heart if u read this...
When he mentions about Lucifer who is now satan.. Most of those scriptures are figures of speech.. They are not a literal description of what satan used to be when he was an angel of light.
Certainly a talented trumpet player. But, when he starts talking he becomes a fool. Evangelical gibberish and nothing but flapdoodle, bunkum, and rambling flimflam from a convicted felon. Of course, that "fact" is conveniently dismissed ("God has forgiven him") by hoards of cult followers.
And who are you to judge? You should be ashamed to "brand" an individual with these despicable names! What does it matter that you say he comes across as a "rambler"?? At the least he is uses his God-given gift to bless mankind. But you, what are your gifts Paul? How useful are you? You should clean your mouth and very dark heart...
