That's exactly the way i think. This package called Junna shows how music works nowadays! And i'm saying this as an old fart metalhead 55yo with almost 40 years of metal-experience without any bitterness!
Forgot about the person said she is to showy. The actual drummer from dragon force has a reaction video of him watching her do though the fire and flames. He smiled though the whole reaction even watched it twice. He was so happy seeing her smile and enjoying her self. Even complainted about how loose she plays compared to other videos he watched. He said its his favourite reaction of that cover. Check it out its a good video
Anyone calling this woman unskilled doesn't know anything about anything. Pearl drums doesn't hand out contract endorsements to just anyone. Junna is a force of nature.
Junna is great! Thanks for reacting to more of her covers. I have never understood the flashy comments. Who wants a drummer that just sits there like a lump? Why should a guitarist or vocalist get to jump around and get excited , but not a drummer? Especially if they can do it without missing a beat!
Musicians are entertainers. Like you said, why is it cool when anyone else in the band does "crazy" stuff. Why should the drummer be any different? JUNNA is the MOST ENTERTAINING Drummer in the world. They think because she is flailing around that she is out of control. Yet it's the exact opposite. That's just how she feels the music, and boy does she FEEL IT! She executes with flawlessly with precision, and still has the skills to add little twists that improve the original song. She's an ABSOLUTE BEAST and we love her!
Outstanding! I didn't see the comments on the other reaction, but I've seen many in her comment section saying she's too showy or hams it up too much. To me, she just loves what she does and is really good at it so why not 'put on a show'? People be hatin, I guess. I love her energy. Now that you reacted to Doki Doki Morning, check out Junna's cover of it. You don't need to do a reaction or anything. It's kinda shortened version. I'm guessing it was due to copyright issues.
I think that's just how she feels the music. She always plays that way even if she's on the back of the stage where not that many people can really see her. Haters be hatin' because she is so much better than they are!
@@Glen.Black. - have you seen when she plays in a band or for and audience? She is still showing emotions, lots of them, but without those strange mouth movements. I think those are for show, and I have mixed feelings about it. I am not the slightest disturbed by it, but I think it might throw some of and that she is not considered serious. One thing is that if you look at earlier recordings, they are still there but not so pronounced. Might have been genuine. But, she found them catching audience, so ...
@@rolandkarlsson7072 I don't particularly disagree with any of that. I just love watching her. I think most of it is genuine. I've heard that one of the reasons she left (I think it was Trident), was because she has a tendency to overpower the other members of the band. This is something that YOYOKA is very careful about. YOYOKA has a really good feel for giving exactly what a particular song needs. She is a beast as well, and just pounds her drums. I stood right next to YOYOKA when she was practicing and it was so loud. I had never stood that close to a drummer before. I had to go buy some earplugs. She was hitting the cymbals so hard they were collapsing, yet when you see her in a band, she never overpowers the other members. Restraint and dynamics.
Thanks Bobby, great job, as usual! This is my favorite JUNNA cover. She's a BEAST! JUNNA is easily the MOST ENTERTAINING Drummer in the world. I've heard comments like she's all show, SO far from the truth. That's just her style. It's just how she feels and chooses to express herself, no showiness. She's the real deal. She's all over the place, facial expressions off the charts and executes with precision and perfection. Beats the drums like they owe her money! I forget which video it is, but she beats the drums so hard that a part fell off on the floor next to her feet. as far as being " too showy" They said that about Roy Clark. If you never saw Roy Clark play guitar , he is all about show but he is one of the greatest guitar players ever. I know Roy Clark all too well. My dad used to watch Hee-Haw a lot. One of my uncles who passed away 22 years ago played piano for Ray Price for more than 30 years. I think there are pros and cons to her unique play style. No, I think it's natural. No matter what the people around her think, her great thing is that she "enjoys music"!
