Pantelis Polychronidis, piano
Undoubtedly one of the most beautiful renditions of this aria I have heard in a long time! Stunning breath control, perfect intention and diction. I am French and can actually understand every phrase, which is not the case with so many other performers, including the famous ones! Thank you so much for this moment of dark delight... you truly sound GRAND!
Fully agree and can add only that the singer is charming so much that makes all audience to fall in love with her
REA....that was beautiful...but the worst page turner I've ever seen lol
Trully memorable rendition! She deserves an opening night at the Met with this Opera!
Exquisite all: voice, interpretation, piano accompaniement.
Your voice.. My god your voice.. I cried from your first note, and couldn't stop. Your voice is so hauntingly beautiful and mirrors this pained sorrow the whole way through.
If I could sing like you, I'd never shut up. You are phenomenal ❤️
Absolutely stunning!
I'm in love! This is one of the most beautiful interpretations of this aria. Bravissima! Bravissima!
What a sublimely beautiful voice. It is wonderful at the top truly rich at the bottom. I only pray that she sings Cassandre and soon.
Pure beauty. What an artist. Bravissima.
Really masterful and passionate! Fantastic placement! May she have a long career.
Fabulous! What an artist!
It was an incredible feeling. you made me cry. Everything about it was so fascinating. You are perfect.🙏🏻❤️❤️❤️

It was the most amazing interpretation of this aria! I am so impressed! Thank you very much
Quelle magnifique voix!!!longue carrière a vous!
Wow. She has a voice that is hauntingly beautiful
I was there. Yo estube ahí, estubo fantástico. Un dominio de la piesas increíble.
A truly memorable interpretation. The voice is just right for this haunting aria and the understanding of the words is spot on. A slight memory lapse in the first section notwithstanding, this is a superb piece of music-making. Excellent french diction too, and a fine understanding of the words. The caesura btw ‘Non’ and ‘tu ne peux guérir’ is exquisitely placed. That’s the kind of nicety that informs a well-judged balance between legato and verbal emphasis.
This is a favourite aria of mine, and Bryce-Davis takes an honoured place with renditions by Rita Gorr (perfect), Régine Crespin (a tad marmoreal but vocally sublime) and Montserrat Caballé (verbal distortions and wild rubato notwithstanding: who could resist the floated high notes on ‘fidèle’ and ‘l’onde’ ?). Brava Raehann Bryce-Davis!!
Gran cantante,hermosa voz
Dear Ms. Bryce-Davis,
Please remember that I'm praising you when I say you know how to make me cry. God blessed you with a talent I can only dream of. Though I'd love to portray Sarastro in Mozart's Die Zauberflote, I can't sing. Many tell me that I should be a radio announcer. So know that if I'm ever privileged enough to talk with you, I'll want to listen silently and hear you sing again. To become wise, I need to let others talk.
Dear William, I'm so touched, thank you so much for your beautiful message. I hope you are still using your beautiful voice! ❤
@@raehannbryce Thank you, my talented friend. I feel privileged because you took the time to answer my post with more than a heart.
Opera is my favorite kind of entertainment. So I love to watch it, listen to it, study its history, and share the art form with anyone who'll watch or listen to it. You belong to a tiny group of artists who delight your admirers with wonderful singing and fine acting. Some say I'm hoity-toity because I'm anti-egalitarian. But if they'd watch with open minds and listen objectively, they'd know some things are objectively superior to others.
I don't know whether my baritone speaking voice is beautiful. that's for others to decide. But if it is beautiful, it's a gift from above. I didn't ask for it. You've been blessed with a major talent I'll always treasure. I nearly typed "covet." But I need to be content with what God gave it to me to please him. So there's no reason for me to wish for what I know I can't have.
Keep up your fine work, and I'll pray that someday I'll be in the front row when you perform at the MET.
She is very special !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Bravo!
What a beautiful voice, and so wonderfully interpreted. She gives me chills.
Wonderful Reahann!
Gorgeous!!!!!!!!!!!
Glorious voice!
omg, your interpretation, its so unique, very good💗
bravasimaaaaaa!!
Touched my Soul!!
superba an excelent artist
You go, Raehann!!!
O my immortal lyre,
Who in the sad days
To all my faithful evils
Always consoled them!
In vain your sweet whisper
Wants to help me to suffer,
No, you can not heal
My last injury;
My wound is in my heart
Only death can end my pain.
Farewell, torch of the world,
Go down in the waves,
Me, I go down under the wave,
In the eternal rest.
The day that must hatch,
Phaon, will shine for you,
But, without thinking of me,
You will see the dawn again.
Open up bitter chasm
I will sleep forever in the sea.
insane. thank you for sharing your hard work
yes girl
She is perfection
BRAVA!!!!!!!
omg i love your looks your voice and your trembling lips .i want more of it
Not only a beautiful voice, but a great artist who lives every emotion. Rare quality! (But please; no "mouth vibrato", creating a false vibrato with the lips, it distorts the naturel vibrato of the voice.)
😘👍👍👍👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
Joli ...
Madame regine Crespin voulais je dire ci dessous
To force
biutiful !♪♫
