Armel Traore, Blake Hinson, Quincy Olivari, these are all high character guys, who appear to be hungry and ready to put the work in. With the Lakers' commitment to a quality developmental program, I have renewed hope that the Lakers' future is in good hands.

Yeah we are going to be top 10 in the G-league this year. Now all we need is someone that catches lobs like Drummond, defends the perimeter like DeAndre Jordan and plays 8 minutes behind AD in unimportant not close games and we'll have a fantastic year in which we'll set new franchise records in 3PTs made. Does it count if it's the other team making them? Not sure.

Hi, @LakersNation. I'm a Lakers fan from Japan.
I always enjoy reading your articles.
I'm not a native English speaker and would love to have the help of automatic subtitles, but it seems that the video settings don't allow subtitles to be displayed.
If you don't mind, could you allow subtitles to be displayed?
    Thank you in advance.

to me its the EU's "foundation" in fundamentals paired with their sheer "hunger" to play the game at an evolved pace/level. Such a fun approach/appeal to watching these international players play the game NGL. They had so much "denied" as far as their true ceiling/ability to exhibit some of their desires on court which is nice to see at the NBA level.

    • @peteranders6893

At a glance he seems to be a lot better than Max Christie. He can dart through traffic and finish at the rim with authority against tier 1 NBA players. Max reads the game too slowly and can only finish if there is no resistance. A year ago Max was about to pop and was a sought after commodity. Attaching him to a first could have done a lot towards a bundle that would have added a player in a tier above Cam Reddish and even Taurean Prince. It was a big mistake not to acquire the starters we needed next to D'Lo, LBJ and AD and to keep our assets.
Let's face it. We build a team with no perimeter defense that lacks SGs and SFs, which has become the most important group of players to add to any high usage star players. And to make it worse for monetary reasons we let go all our borderline starters and or starters and eventually replaced them with a gang of mid tier G-league guys with potential. Now we essentially have two teams. One is trying to win now and lacks the starter level veterans for it. The other moved on from very promising guys like Jay Huff, Stanley Johnson, Scottie Pippen Jr. And previously Cacok and got new projects that fit a title contention timeline 5-7 years into the future IF it works out.
The obvious result is a play-in team that can beat anyone on a good night with all players available and can also lose to everyone by 30 on a bad night if either AD or LeBron are missing. And we also can't beat anyone that really wants to win, if one or more of our solid role players are missing. We have 0 depth in addition to 0 perimeter defense.
But let's get a center. That will certainly convince LeBron to play SF again. 😂

He should not divulge that he has problems with his knees or that he's struggling with the pace of the NBA.
That's' what I like about Hinson, he played football, he knows what grueling workouts are all about. In fact, that's what Hinson has to work on is the finesse aspect of the game, and this French kid is going to have to work on his physical toughness and endurance. It's good they are becoming friends.

always remember that you've gotten 3pt back with what you got don't ever lose em
the downgrade to pf will bring wonders since you can only play elite with max of big 2. big 3 doesn't work mpj shut down is always due to boshtrich syndrome on any system. the key is to not be dominated by fictional mass advantage.

This young man has tremendous potential. His younger brother, Nolan, is expected to be a high level pick in next year's draft. If he has anywhere near the same level of talent, the Lakers may have scored a major coup.
