Thanks for commenting @rtbinc2273. To be honest, the 46 Chinook is an absolute masterclass in getting something fundamentally right. These are fast, lithe and elegant ladies, with a sensational hull and beautifully-crafted interior - but this all comes at a cost and the Chinook was a complicated boat to build and finish to the correct level. Should never have been discontinued in our (Berthon's) opinion, but there we go - you can now find these beautiful boats at well-depreciated values, and still enjoy the wonderful Ownership of having one.
This is a question that is much asked, and there is no real answer that we can share. The 46 was always a complicated and expensive project to build, and this translated into a premium price - but it is a premium product. Once you have been out on one - there really is no comparison...
