I noticed you used the roto plus a copy node to create and add an alpha channel to the stream. I recommend connecting the roto node directly to the plate and setting the roto node output to "alpha". You can then delete the copy. The roto node is designed to be inserted into the stream as seen by its "bg" input. My 2 cents.
Thanks, Manooj. There are many gizmos and methods that help fill in the semi-transparent content between fg and bg. I appreciate how you showed how the fundamental operations work underneath these gizmos. Artists should know how to achieve these tasks with Nuke's basic operations just as well as using these premade tools.
@@madlookzvfx yes i really love your tutorials ! thanks. could you show a set up for working with a stabilized plate when doing roto or paint. i always have a hard time to really make my script easy to work with and see easyly my work? also with the undistort, it kind of be the same thing. i think but i am always confused about how to make my script easy to work with.

There is a free Gizmo called 'Edge Extend' on nukepedia that does this for you in a single node and also gives lot of control on the edges
I have told in video, there are many gizmos which does the same things in more advanced way. And thanks for the ping!
