For some odd reason the Tiger tense up when a Lion approach, I do know the Tiger is the master of hunting but the Lion is the master at fighting. Lion has a greater bone density than that of a Tiger. His bones are designed for taking pain almost like how pitbull dogs bones are. A full grown 7 yr old Lion weighs about 560 lbs , A full grown Siberian Tiger weigh around 680 lbs. Львы хотя и считаются кошками но всë же очень похожи по строению тела на бойцовских собак типа бульдога или им подобных. Строение тела довольно похоже. Львы весьма величественны, смелы и идут напролом но нестоит обольщаться по поводу вздрагивания и реакций тигра ведь он тоже весьма крут. Такое поведение тигра лишь показывает его реакцию и заботу о собственной шее. Дело в том что в отличии от львов которые в своих драках хоть с тигром хоть с другим львом идут напролом даже не сильно переживая за шею защищëнную гривой, то тигры дерутся друг с другом и со львом чуть иначе. Укус у тигра немного сильнее чем у льва и понятное дело что если в драке между двумя тиграми один схватит другого за шею то не имея защиты в виде гривы это может стать весьма травматичным или даже фатальным для того кого схвалили. Поэтому у тигров отрабатыааются свои виды драк чтобы не дать противнику схватить за шею . Вот отсюда и такие вставания на задние лапы и вздрагивания от малейшей попытки угрожать шее тигра. Это не обязательно означает что тигр боится, просто у него немного другая тактика. Кстати слабым местом льва является его позвоночник, точнее укус в него. Так часто делают львы когда дерутся друг с другом, особенно когда два или три льва приходят сместить вожака и одолеть его. Так вот кто то из львов дерëтся с вожаком а другой лев кусает вожака за спину и если укус сделан то скорее всего вожак обречëн. В одном вольере я видел как подобную процедуру два льва хотели сделать с тигром. Они пришли сместить его и накинулись с двух сторон и изрядно поволяли его по полу. Он неплохо одбивался но всë же ему неслабо досталось. Потом он вырвался от них и переместился в угол для защиты. Львы( а это были два взрослых и сильных льва) устроившие ему неплохую трëпку постояв чуть и потом ушли. Но удивило меня больше всего то, что устроившие тигру не малую трëпку львы всë же не смогли причинить его позвоночнику никакого вреда хотя попыток укуса в позвоночник было несколько. Тигр вертелся и крутился и извивался пытаясь одбиваться и иногда и весьма успешно и спина тигра осталась невредима хотя ссм тигр не выглядел победителем а скорее тем, кто просто смог уцелеть и дать некоторого отпора. Но в целом имея конечно на себе некоторые ссадины и порезы от когдей и клыков всë же был довольно цел. Тоесть в подобной ситуации когда два- три льва приходят отнять титул у другого льва и имеют серьëзный настрой поразить вожака именно укусом в спину и позвоночник то как правило в большенстве случаев они добиваются своего и лев из за не столь гибкого как у тигра тела всë же пропускает этот страшный укус в свою спину что приводит к параличу и через несколько часов такой лев почти парализован и его противники, оставившие его после того как укусили потом приходят и легко расправляются с парализованным вожаком. Тигра же даже проигрывающего и отступающего поймать укусом в шею или спину значительно сложнее. Обычно львы их просто оттесняют со своей территории и всë. Ито как правило потому что львы живут прайдом и самцу кажется что его прайду угрожают даже если тигр просто идëт мимо, но лев всегда более замотивирован. Тигр же редко имеет какую то серьëзную мотивацию нападать на льва. Хотя в некоторых случаях рассерженные чем то тигры тоже весьма часто устраивают серьëзную трëпку львам. Обе эти пошки примерно одинаковы по силе и величию.
