Yes this is true. ACIM is perhaps the deepest spiritual book/path that one can follow. It redifines common terms in new ways. Pure spirit doesnt have form, therefore we cannot spiritualize anything. Thats not to say that things in the world cannot have influence us. We are not to deny this.
Thank you for the clarification and I may be misunderstanding what you mean, but it sounds like we're thinking basically the same thing. When you say: "The course can only be studied within the ego's framework"? The Course is written to help get you out of the Ego's framework, because those who are already outside the Ego would have no use for the Course. I agree completely with you wrote after that statement.
I think we are our bodies, but we are everything else too we are not separate but we choose to give ourselves the illusion of seperateness to explore. You dont need to beleive in God to get to heaven we are all already there but need to wake up to it
hell is when spirit, or god as people call it, gets lost in the identification and illusion of seprateness from all that is. when someone experiences anger or guilt, the ego has made that REAL and hence there is a "hell". heaven is the reality of oneness with god and all that is. in a way we are one big family but all are one.
@CountRobVonRolf If you dont understand it or think it is BS that is fine. If you enjoy life go enjoy. However if something about this idea appeals to you, within you, chances are this is your time to align with your real purpose. If so, read Garys book, or A Course in Miracles, and do the workbook in there when you think you are ready "i can only show you the door, you are the one that has to walk through it" ;)
@MASTERASOKA I have actually. I find your judgement of whether Gary has had the experience or not interesting, however. Is his halo not bright enough??
Hey Tom. Can you clarify a bit? You're seem to be a student of ACIM and what you're saying makes sense, but I'm still confused with some of your statements.
WOW~"church-Catholic-latin~ The language of the murders of Jesus" quite a Big clue that leads to a wild imagination... yet I hv to grip tite of the faith of "bodily delusion" or I fall hard again thru the worldly tale of crucified; the whack-off J's body actually help finishin' up his plan(as he knew it) whereas His scheme(for da chosen) completed perfectly, as always. did G.I.Gurdjieff( the 4th way) speak aramaic as well? how many speak armaic nowadays?~the Lost Treasure is recruiting 'em~!:-)
ACIM people can be a bit dogmatic for me. If you have an alternative view of spirituality or the world then that's your ego ignorance for them because basically it doesn't fit the paradigm. My difficulty with the teaching is that it tells what to think and results in people going around dictating to the rest of us how reality is according to the text. Could you be satisfied spouting someone else's wisdom?
love how he talks of duality in terms of abundance and it's opposite and beauty and ugliness.. but then goes on about the father and never mentions the female counterpart.?????? and if I missed it then I sorry I lost interest after that!!! Isn't male and female a big part of duality? This almost sounds like cult mindsets
ditto, great comment. You only have knowingness through experience. Wonderful!
very, very interesting. THX Alan
Waaauuw he absolutely GOT IT,BIG TIME...NO WORDS NEEDED..hhC
wow !what gary is saying is exactly what our teacher in pranic healing was talking to us about, the seperation that became duality..etc etc

My question dear Martop1 to you is, have you had the experience?

Wow, christians are getting existential now.
I appreciate Gary's words, however, it is clear he is speaking from knowledge and not experience. That leaves one a little lacking.

this might be true but he is a shy talker. I have heard that he doesnt like to bring in his personal life.
