I’d even rather Chalobah as captain. Not over Gallagher, but maybe Reece. If you watch Chalobah, he’s always commanding his teammates where to go, pass, etc… he’s built the skills playing next to Silva. He has a mistake in him every now and then… though not since coming back… but if he does make a mistake, it’s an accidental, honest one. Reece isn’t prone to mistakes, his ability is amazing, but he makes intentional, reactionary actions… like that red card, that’s far from needed.

One thing I have to say, Chalobah has literally learnt from Thiago Silva, he's the guy whose game reading is superb..he isn't rush, knows how to position himself, and my goodness, his body posture.
Right now, Chalobah is better than Van Djik defensively, convince me otherwise, just by looking at how Van Djik needs someone to cover for his ass so that he can make those tackles, and being rushed into his own goal, and looking at what Silva has taught Chalobah to, I rest my case, this is a big Thank you to Thiago Silva, at least he has left Chelsea with something

Fantastic performance all-around from Chelsea. It’s so satisfying to see these players that were struggling earlier in this season.
You’ve covered every player’s performance today.
Except for Reese’s late heartache, Chelsea looked unbeatable.
Special kudos to : Chalobah, Caicedo, Gallagher and much - improved Badiashile .
Do well Chelsea vs Bournemouth. Don’t underestimate them.
Let’s look positive towards playing in Europe next season.
    Cheers !!

VAR is good. Biased refs are the problem. Removing VAR would just allow the refs to screw us even more. The best thing to do is to make the communication during any VAR check public in real time. That will solve most of the problems and induce some accountability.

Listening to the beginning of the game on the Chelsea app in my car, it seemed like Cucurella was a step behind and having yo make iffy tackles in the first 15 minutes or so. Glad to see him settle down after that.
My preseason prediction for Chelsea was 6th. I got a lot of ridicule during the season, but things are looking so much better now.

Why mention Jackson not squaring that ball and ignore that Palmer did the exact same thing. No mention that the goal came because Palmer drifted forward for no apparent reason. Is he somehow above criticism? Jackson goofed, and Palmer also goofed.
