I like how Tracey have to act like she never seen these appliances before, and talk about them in other segments just so each designer can have their moment. Good host skills. A washers and dryer combo, is what I need, I wonder if I could get one that is big a enough for a family of 6 but small enough to fit nicely in a small kitchen.

If you absolutely don't have room and can't go to a laundromat, the washer/dryer combi can be a compromise but keep in mind it takes forever to dry. It took me a whole day and multiple trys to completely dry one load. J do not recommend for families. Fine for washing. A nightmare for drying.

I bought my first washer/dryer in 1980. Washing machine is great but small dryer and takes ages

Dont be fooled, the European Combination Washer and Dryer is TERRIBLE. I used one for the two weeks I was in the UK and while it washed the clothes fine (don't wash more than one pair of jeans at a time though if you have a bunch of shirts and underwear and socks as well), the "condensing" dryer didn't really do much other than make the clothes feel damp, the apartment humid and everything needed to be hung up to dry inside. It took 2 days for jeans to dry and a day for everything else. They are absolutely TERRIBLE waste of resources.

Jeans take ages to dry even in the sun. I'm in the tropical zone and I hate jeans 😂

The washing machine/dryer combo isn't a European item. They use it in tiny homes & RVs all the time & have for years.
