In 2022 he had 11 opportunities to win games with clutch free throw or shot and failed on all 11 attempts. In 2023, he failed 7 times to win games with clutch shots. He has not hit a clutch game winning free throw or shot in years.

    Still an unmistakable undeniable monster when healthy. Its mind numbingly legendary what this athlete has been able to achieve and sustain. At this point of his career I am just grateful for the passion and professionalism he still has for the game every season.

      Seasonal stats give LeBron the edge but career accolades by this age (both at their 38yo mark) are won by Jordan. LeBron has been more consistent over the years but Jordan had been more efficient during his.

      @@omgvague are we realy going to use awards? kobe has more defensive awards than lebron yet lebron has had a better defensive rating than kobe every season except his rookie year. jordan got all those defensive awards but anybody who watched the bulls knows pippen was the better defender. the awards are opinion based at the end of the day

      Except for crunch time, where despite resting on defense, he runs out of gas. LeBron has not hit a game winning shot in years.       @@baldpnoy410 Yes but old LeBron pales in comparison to younger LeBron. At age 38, he simply runs out of gas. LeBron has not hit a clutch game winning shot in years. Younger LeBron was one of the greatest closers of all time.

      @@RetrieverTrainingAlone At 38 no one has ever asked to do what he is doing at his age... There's a reason he is gassed late in the 4th. At his age he should not be carrying a team or playing 40+ minutes per game in the playoffs.

    Bro, LeBron was still at his peak before that injury istg. Remember when he had an interview the game before the Clippers one and he was told that he still hasn’t dropped 40 on them? That says a lot about him and he proceeded to drop 47 if i’m not mistaken. Although it resulted into a loss, damn that was cold bro. And also when he was like 30 points away from the scoring record, he talked to Bronny and Bryce that he’ll break it and he did. Mad props to the Lakers though, they made the conference finals with a newly polished team, I hope they can still make a run for it next season.

    Only facts you have not seen greater with your own eyes. Not only year 20….n 38 years old….. but to be in 10 finals (deep postseason runs playing multiple teams and beating them) extends it even more. It’s not like he is a year 20 player who been to 1 deep postseason run. Makes it even more special.

    He is a still a force when coming down the lane, but now that hes matured even more, he disects the defense with various schemes more to drive/pass the rock as opposed to when he was younger and knew that brute force would be enough along with that great atheleticism. And you can see that his jump has declined but now his timing and thinking is way ahead than any other player ever.

    From watching this to how he played in the playoffs you can tell he wasn’t healthy. I watched his games all season and he had that burst/first step to blow by the D.. but during the playoffs he was slow as a snail. If he recovers and they play good it’s a chip.
