Meanings behind the video is entirely up to the viewer. Happy viewing!!
I get goose bumps every time I listen to this song. I especially love the second part of "chorus" when the high notes start to kick in and I'm like OMG I DON'T KNOW IF I'LL HANDLE ALL THAT AWESOMENESS
exactly. goosebumps.
The video is about loss, about trying to desperately hold on to something precious that is, essentially, trying to get away from you. Once it has attained it's freedom, it blossoms forth into something more beautiful than it was before, to your horror and dismay. It becomes exalted, without you.
Then again, maybe it's just a bunch of moving pictures. Hehe... cartoons! :) *claps *
I had jus smoked a fatty n stumbled onto this song then read this and went DEEP. =P
What happens in the end?
I prefer the OP's interpretation. Makes me think of an old relationship when I didn't know what I was doing and expected far more than I should have. Hell, she's a pretty successful person now.
I mean, maybe. How do you know
Good video. 65daysofstatic are the best band to come out this century and this is one of their masterpieces!
Definitely one of the best.
I've only known of this band for 6 days now, but already i saw them ,live at wedgewood rooms portsmouth. they reduced me to tears. i've never heard anything like these people before, if i had to define them in terms of bands i know of...tool+aphex twin+venetian snares+little death orchastra
65 days for life...
For life bruh
When the tree rises, it reminds me of this lyric from 10.000 Days by Tool "Repugnant is the creature who will squander the ability to lift an eye to heaven, concious of its fleeting time here" -Tool .
how this dosent have the most views on youtube i'll never know, not a single word in this song yet so much said,
This is one of my favorite songs.
This was amazing I didn't know I needed this
You even got the rhythm down perfectly to emphasize their form of texture
Nice one bud
I love how this song messes around with the tempo, it makes it a lot more colorful and powerful
both this song and this video are masterpieces
Time ticks down in a world we would never have chosen.
Remembering the rooms of people who didn't intend to stay. Maybe not even with themselves.
Why not just leave if everything just dies that holds you here...
I. Am. Gone. Already. Cause. You. Are. Gone. Already.
for the dude that wants it explained. seems like the seed is a metaphor for someone "unique" or "different" or even "normal" (in terms of how we're born) and the metallic structures are what society "structures us to be. the seed is flying trying to find a place to grow and expand into what its meant to be. a unique and healthy part of society, possibly making a difference. the robot represents the structures as it chases the seed and tries to make it one of its own. the seed escapes and grows into a tree. this happens in real life, when you see a single person that tries to revolutionize the world or change it for the better. take mandela. hard life (structures) tried to stop him from growing, but he made a difference. it happens. keep hope, friends.
This helped so much, thank you :)
I needed this one.
WOW, it's been so long since I last listened to this. Every bit amazing as the first time round.
Anyone catch them at Reading?
Always loved this vid. Even though it was fan made, it really feels like something they'd do. Such deep intensity and emotion, and so much so that it suits the song down to the ground.
This tells SOOOO MUCH about life, I cant describe how I felt, like BRO, YOU ARE AN ARTIST AND U SHOULD DESERVE WAY MORE ATTENTION! Congratulations!!! also 65dos is my fav band :)))
Mine too broo and i think you love NMS also!
@@szablori9161 I do!!!
Stunning, captivating and beautiful. I can think of no 3 words to better describe this piece.
I've once performed a contact juggling improvisation routine with 'drove through ghosts..' and was an amazing experience! The contradiction of powerful music and smooth contact juggling.. just amazing!
HOLY SHIT, THIS IS ADDICTIVE AS IT GETS.
I was NOT expecting a fan-made video to be this amazing. Wonderful, wonderful job. I was blown away by how the pacing matched the music, and I loved the explosion of life when the tree grows at the crescendo. Simply amazing.
My wife and I discovered 65daysofstatic 10 years ago when they opened for The Cure. Absolutely brilliant band. We were mesmerized by their live performance. Sometimes lyrics tell the story of a song. This band needs no lyrics. So much power, passion and emotion is conveyed in their songs.
it was a great move of robert smith / the cure to support them and make them known to the world. I can't believe it's been 10 years since 65dos supported them on a tour. I've been listening to them for 12 years and they are still one of the best bands I've ever witnessed!
Well, the artist himself wrote that the meaning is entirely up to the viewer. I thought it was about how we keep trying to adjust and outrun nature by bettering ourselves and creating new technology, but the end nature is the only true creator and it will always win.
This gives me wonderful viewpoints
1. that "nature ball" was us running away from "god" and grew, by ourselves
2. that we let go of what really mattered to us, and they grew by themselves
wow! I never thought I’d find myself back at this video again
yeah,this is music
Haunting, beautiful.
I loved this song, its been a favorite of mine. But this video... wow. Too good for words.
When that tree sprouted...
Awesome video! I'm in love with the band for a long time, and your video fits totally perfect to the song. Great.
awesome! stumbled upon 65daysofstatic a while ago but never seen a video till now. excellent stuff!
It's such an haunting peice of music and i love that.
the song is so much more intense than this video, it actually doesn't need a video at all, listening to it eyes closed brings out wanders
Worth noting; The conspiracy of seeds is a collab with Circle Takes The Square, which is why it's the only one with vocals.
what a tune,
unbelievable,
loving the edgy drums in there
aphex twin / squarepusher inspired, it has to be!
heart-stopping music
no words, no regrets
i usually ride my bicycle under this song in straight line through park, no breakes, no control only wind in face
i recomend everyone to watch AMV on this song "Drove through Flower girl to get paradise"
This song has grown on me. Now I listen to it everyday at least once.
Very creative, good song as well.
Absolutely amazing
The amount of awesomeness is too damn high!
one of the best post rock band i discovered recently
Search "So above so below - Remembrance of things past"
:)
11 years ago man
This is just too good !!!
Still in love with this song
Great video. Very creative. Props to the maker.
this is so good! why am i just discovering 65 days of static now?! lol i'm fast becoming a fan.
It's not a fan made video - it's the official release for the track.
Produced by Medlo
Illustrated by Lord Bunn
Directed by Tza Parmee and Lord Bunn.
fantastic!!!hope to see you again in greece
epic,. The scene where the seed bursts into a tree.... really defined the song for me.
One word ...Incredible!
oh my god this song is perfect!!
and the video rocks!!
I've been looking for this song for a while now. Since I heard it on the very same advert.
Good track. Good video. Awesome job.
we represent the robot, an industrialised era where civilisation has lost value in mother nature but if you give earth a chance, its beauty will prosper forth and bring colour to a gray world.
8 years later, still good.
this was too awesome for words
certainly the best song I've heard in quite the while.. :]
@yotipo91 I think it's kinda cool that it's crap for most of it. Most everyone that was watching it to see an interesting video switches it off before it gets to the really good part, and everyone who is content with the music gets to see it..
just amazing.. wow
I made a time-lapse video when traveling in the US, with my ex. Yes, she is my ex but, I will always connect and refer this song, as a part of what was, when I was with her. How beautiful, yet so sad.
this video nearly always brings tears to my eyes
So glad I came across this band, like Isis but less screaming and more electronic beats:D Omg and I love this song, Yay.
wow... where has this band been all my life
Awesome editing on the video, really impressive. :D
This song might represents at least 10 years of my life in many ways.
This song also appears on the excellent "Escape from New York" live album. I think the piano part project more on that recording, perhaps that's what you heard.
What a remarkable song and accompanying video. They don't make 1/20 of the money someone like Beyonce or Britnney make and that points to a sad state of affairs in the musical world.
I danced to this music on my dance GCSE.
In my opinion I think the robot represents us and the power pools are the ones that represent technology. The part where the apple falls off the cliff was really powerful.
i use this everytime i train parkour. seriously does something great about my performance. keeps me focused
It's not. The band is paying for this. Stop saying that, so the people from Medio gets to be hired again. It's an awesome video.
awesome....just like the whole album
Amazing song !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Great song... especially when your love and your love is tragedy.. and without that too
this is so. good.
beautiful...
it's amazing
congratz
these guys can blend electronics with "real" instrumentation like no-one else (except MAYBE squarepusher with his bass :P).
65dos... phenomenal.
man, this song calms me.
Amazing!
so so so good
i love this song!
That's just fucking epic awesome!
I listeng to this song again and agin and again...
dope ! legendary dope !
To the dude who wanted a superhero fight video...I think the robot was a hero in a way.
27 dislikes????? really? this is one of the most epic post rock songs i've ever heard....for sure.
Very inspiring.
Everclassic!
agreeeeed!
1:05-1:26 is my favorite, it gives me goosebumps i loveee this
TEMAZO, ES IMPRESIONANTE!
This song was used a BBC trailer for some drama series. almost pooped myself when I heard it.
amazing, not more not less
They are good but do they use electronica in the same way?
this is art.
I love it, as a long time ago :)
really good song i like it.
seems like something you would hear on a really bad ass movie trailer
Nice drums at 1:05

+DonnPacino wow. i gave you more music suggestions and still no response after 3 weeks. fine then, ill take it back! no sd for you!
Dude this is legit!!!
@CodenameLust that is because you are refering to the song of epicness ... :D
Wie hast du das copyright umgangen ?
Oh my god that was cool.
Were you at the Dodge theater?
Damn, I need to get their CD!
@Highmeh85 Sigh... You realize drumming has time signatures as well, right? And in math rock, they change throughout the song too? Looks like you learned something new today.
