- Hey,
I'm very happy to present you my cover of Liquid Crystal Disease from Vektor. A really fun and challenging song to play from the masterpiece Terminal Redux! I had the great opportunity to meet the guys from the band and to tour with them this year, so it felt the right time to do that cover. I just hope it doesn't suck to much, guys ;-)
I used my LTD MH-401QM guitar in standard F tuning.
I really hope you will enjoy that cover! If you do, please like, share and subsrcribe for more cool stuff!
Cheers!
Incredible!!! Covering Vektor on guitar is no easy feat. Great work 👍
Thank you very much!! Yeaah I had to practice it quite a lot 😁
Amazing!! You're the first one to nail this cover afaik, surprised you don't have 100x the views on this. Looks like a right hand workout haha
Thanks a lot for your support :) Yep I have to warm up a least 20 minutes my right hand to be able to play it without dying 🤣
This cover made my day. Such excellence, so clean, such tone, wow! Really, really inspiring to a mediocre guitarist who wants to play more and get better like myself.
Thank you very much :) Don't be so hard to yourself and enjoy the process of practicing a song 🤘
WTH ! Very impressive...
Thank you 🤘
Nailed it !! 🤘🤘🤘
Thank you 🤘😊
excellent job man!! i spent a few weeks learning this and had to stop as literally injured my right arm from it constantly being tense from all the tremolo picking (would practice over and over in several hour intervals) - hope you didn't suffer the same!! i have no idea how vektor can play a full gig of this shit without their arms dropping off
Thanks man!! Yeaah it's a difficult and fast song to learn! I hope your injury has healed!
I didnt get injured but I always warm up before playing or first play it at 90%, then 95% and then at 100% of speed! The key is to stay the most relaxed possible and find the very small breaks to relax the hand
@@jonemery4872 just a technical question, how to do practice it as slower speeds? Do you use a tab program that can do that and play along?
@@dougdouglass6126 Hey! I have a Reaper project for every song where I can slow down the pace or make it faster! I also slow down the songs on my phone and I play through or I just play it on my own with no music!
Es impresionante!!!
Gracias :)
Great cover man!
Thank you very much :)

Extremely good. Well done bro. How tf u tune ur guitar to F standard without damaging the neck? What strings did u used. Tell me please are they 9-42? I want to cover some of their songs but i have fear cz i think if i tune up to F I'm gonna damage the neck. Thank u 🙌
Hey thank you! I used strings in 8 - 38 so I didnt need to change my settings from 10 - 46 ! It all went fine 🤘🤘
@@jonemery4872 thank you im gonna search for these strings.
Bruh. Honestly perfect.
Thank you Matt 🤘
the what is seemingly effortlessness is what's most impressive here
Haha believe me I'm dying during the whole song 🤣 But warming up is the key!

Thank you! 🤘
Good cover
Thank you Henrik 🤘
Being tuned to F has such a curious sound
Yeep it makes it sound more frenetic!
Yeah, you play it a little different than how I play it. However, looking at your left hand (and from the tone on the guitar) you're clearly not just an experienced guitarist, and play it better than I have yet to, you understand the atmosphere Vektor is trying to hit. You actually really bring out what it means to play their type of "blackened thrash," so when I hear your cover, I'm like "Yes, this is exactly how it SHOULD be played!"
Such sweet work. Keep it up. You rock.
Thank you so much for the kind words bro!! ❤️ I m glad you enjoyed this interpretation! I tried to be the closest possible to the original way of playing it
