I just picked one up today, I forgot to ask are rock island mags interchangeable? Will full size 10 rnd .45 mag fit on this compact ? They are still dirt cheap btw haha !

@Twistedtea701 yes. The short frame model will take any 1911 mag. I use chip McCormick mags mostly but I have had good luck with metalform and APC mags. The only ones i have issues with are promags and some of the Korean made mags.

Just a slight correction. The CS is considered smaller than a commander sized 1911.
