The comparison between what the boat looked like when you started and what it is now is stunning. One of the best restoration / refit series I've ever seen. Keep at it, yours has become one of my favorite channels.
WOW Bob just WOW!! When you popped up the photo at 12:27 it all came rushing back. What a "before and after"!! You should be very proud of what you're accomplished so far. Nothing looks better than freshly varnished wood. You may want to think about teak oil or tung oil for that threshold but I trust your decision. You always seem to come up with the best solution for our boat. Take care and thanks for the episode Jerry
Thanks Jerry. When I was looking through the old pictures for something else I came across that picture and said I’ve got to add this in the video. It was a last minute thing. Also gave me a little more justification in my own mind for why it’s taking me so long to get our boat finished. As always thanks for the comment & take care. - Bob
Thanks. I’m glad you’re getting some information from what I am doing in the videos. Your comment reminds me why I started the channel in the first place. - Bob
Quite the transformation, I don't know why but I've just realized I've missed about six episodes. Just catching up now. I don't know why Ii didn't get notifications i do have the bell tapped.
It’s getting there Fon. I haven’t heard anyone else comment that they were not getting notified lately. I double checked my channel settings and they are set to notify. Odd. Hopefully just a temporary RUclips glitch. Glad to hear you’re back on track. Enjoy. - Bob
The engine replacement is way down the road. It will be one of the last things I do before the boat goes in the water. I don’t want to put them in and have them just sit there while I finish up the rest of the projects needed to launch the boat. They are also the most expensive items for this project and all finances need to be in order to make it happen. Probably not what you wanted to hear but I need to be realistic with expectations. Thanks for asking as others are probably wondering as well. - Bob
I don’t know if they would appreciate the fiberglass hull under all that wood. I plan on going to the show next year. By car and as a spectator. Maybe I will see you there. Thanks for the comment & watching. - Bob

Thanks, that’s a very nice comment. I appreciate it very much. - Bob
I looked twice but could not see any imperfections. Man, you do beautiful work.
The key is to have more than one imperfection. One stands out. More blended together. 😁 Thanks for the nice comment. Appreciate it. - Bob

Hi Liam, I’ve been happy with that product. We will see how it performs in the elements some day. Thanks for commenting. - Bob
Incredible! Love the “Money Shot”
To bad there is no real money attached to the money shot. I have a million of them I could use. Thanks for the comment. - Bob
