Agree...a good devil's Hank is a priceless item to have. I do a borrowed and signed bill to locked box with one (Bill signed, folded into quarters, placed under the Hank and bill 'held' through the Hank on top by the spectator. Pull out a locked box, yank the Hank away from spectator, bill is gone, and is found inside the locked box...the actual signed bill) Been doing it for years...kills every single time. Just one of a million uses.
Thank you for the review Scott. I have some thoughts on this that I would like to share. First of all this is one of the best versions on the market because of the bead that indicates to the performer how to handle the hank. However, I wholeheartedly believe devil's hank is being used wrong most of the time because its so easy to do so. If you vanish an object in it. Trust me, even if they don't say it, the audience will think the object is inside the hank because its the only logical place. You pulled it from your pocket and they never examined it. This product should be used in the context of a routine and not as a vanish. A great example is Joshua Jay, he does it in a time travel plot where the watch which he'd taken off vanishes and goes back 'in time' onto his wrist. This takes the heat off this prop. As a vanish on its own? I have experienced that it fools no one. But its a great product. Cheers
I think that way of thinking should be applied to every prop. That’s why I don’t perform anything that uses a phone. People know it’s the phone doing it and not the magician. Context and story when performing magic is just as important as good handling. Thank you for sharing.
Totally agree!! My all time favorite magic prop. It is the easiest best valued prop that gives the biggest reactions ofany prop/gimmick you can own. It is MUST have .
I don’t I’m afraid. I bought mine for a specific reason in mind and don’t have any resources on Devil’s Hank. There is the idea of Ring, Wallet, Watch, which is a great effect that sometimes uses a Devils Hank. Hopefully someone will see this and be more helpful than me.

Big difference. Love Bandana cannot do what a devil’s hank does. Love Bandana has one use and one effect. Devil’s hank is a utility prop used for countless effects.
You could vanish a baseball in it (which I believe is bigger than an 8ball) but the larger the object, the less convincing it is. I just tested it with an egg and that was perfectly convincing.
