Ex-new world player here. I loved the game and genuinely hope they can pull the FF14 ARR revamp. This game pulls you in very well. This is not a crafting game. This is an action packed mmorpg. Crafting in the beginning is just part of the tutorial. The issue the ex-new world players like me had was the lack of end game pve content and instanced pvp being ignored. Endgame loop was missing a link or two to keep the loop loopy if you know what I mean. If you ask me if it's worth it to play new world, it's always worth to experience is new world is one of a kind mmo in my opinion. My opinion is my own and shouldn't influence anyone in anyway.
The issue is people who played the game for thousands of hours talking it down EVERYWHERE.
@@Seb7an you must understand both sides of the argument when it comes to this game are quite valid. players with thousands of hours are complaining or trying to feedback because the players they play with or against are leaving. then players with hundreds of hours stopped playing because theyre done running the same dungeons over and over among other things. these are all valid because that means the players love the game and wanna keep playing but theres nothing for them to keep going forward.
Comparing your standard to FF XIV ARR? kid you realize that SE has had 37 years to develop all that you see in FFXIV? Your grasp of tike needed for new creativity into a title is extremely lacking.
You think New World should or needs to compete against FF? At same level?
You forget, it's a different concept in story, the end game content is based on the entirety off of revenue and population numbers.
FF has had 10 years in development, 10 years on the market, and they are planning another 10 years on top of all that.
Be patient if you plan to be a mmorpg gamer.

Of course, the creativity is lacking. I’m not a game designer. I expressed my opinion. You expressed your opinion. The only difference is I talk about the game. You talk about me talking about the game. And, don’t “kid” people you don’t know. They might be as old as your dad. Anyway, you might have missed the meaning of comparing with ARR. You seem to see only bad in people. I don’t blame you tho. The world is pretty bad unlike old days.
Played around 5 hours last night on the ps5 and generally had a good time.
The graphics in general are ok considering the type of game although the animated cutscenes leaves a lot to be desired.
In general the combat feels great and since I don’t do pc gaming anymore I could definitely see myself playing this on my ps5 in the future.
How were you able to download the game?

I played this when it came to pc years ago and I’ll just say it now this is not worth your time at all.

@@kulicklai played on playstation 5 with buddies and beside the very bad graphic, overloaded interface, boring quests design. it was not fun at all. Just to name a few.
So my buddies were also annoyed by looting things, that take like 10 seconds in animation. Overall feels everything very poor and i dont think that this game has a future.
