    Great info. very informative. what happens after the maturity ,does the CBK transfer money back to your account.

      The funds will be deposited to your CDS account. You will see it under the " Transactions" then you can transfer to your bank account if you want to.

    Morning Ivy what a great info 👌 But if can someone transact via Mpesa if you don't have a Bank A/C??

    • @ivyoyori
      @ivyoyori  2 месяца назад

      Thanks Brian.
      It's not possible with MPESA.
      It has to be a bank account . And even with a bank account, you cannot transfer money via your mobile app since most banks don't do RTGS transfers via mobile apps ( though 1 or 2 banks can)

    I forgot my password to dhow csd account. Have tried severally to reopen, sending request reset but nothing.what should I do?

    • @ivyoyori
      @ivyoyori  16 дней назад +1

      Confirm if the email you used to reset the password is the same as the one you used to register the account with. Then check your email if you have received any details from dhow. If it's okay, reach out to the customer support line for CBK, it's on their website

    face value is it the amount of money you want to invest??

    • @ivyoyori
      @ivyoyori  Месяц назад

      It's the amount of money you will receive at the end of the investment.
      So you choose your face value but the money you transfer is less. I.g, you transfer 88k to get the face value of 100k. ( For example)

    I RECOMMEND TREASURY BILLS AND BONDS BUT i don't recommend money market funds because they are significantly more risky. If a country can't pay you the principle and or interest then you and your country have bigger issues than the 200k you entrusted to the government because a government can essentially print money or collect taxes therefore they can't really fail and if they failed then the whole economy will have issues. A money market fund is too risky especially if you can get similar interest rates are a T bill or Bond... why give money to some random fund managers when you can give it directly to a government lol?

      Yeah. Treasury Bills and Bonds all the way. But for liquidity, like in case I have an emergency, I will go for a money market fund and any excess cash, bills and bonds
