Trangia Boil Off

Compares three Trangia 27 outer sauce pans without lids when boiling two cups of water on a gas range. Pans are identical designs, shapes and sizes but are made of different materials:
- anodized aluminum
- anodized aluminum with non-stick coating
- soft aluminum.
The elapsed time to reach a boil varied with the anodized aluminum pot being the fastest and the soft aluminum pot being the slowest. As seen in the video, the boiling patterns were very different.
More to come as testing continues on other pot sizes and shapes. Eventually, tests will include various camp stoves.
