This song is about living a life without God. A life without God is self indulging and enough to bring your body to your death, but then it's over as "the bells toll."
We cannot save ourselves from death. Eternity in heaven cannot be taken by us, only given by God.

Love it! DH will always be my favorite band!
This song is that famous '90's grunge sound. Example : Alice in Chains, Stone Temple Pilots, and Sound Garden. Lots of good music during that era.

This one has Down in a Hole by Alice in Chains vibe.
You can hear it in Ryan voice(especially, not only there), when DH made a cover of that song he sang it almost the same way.

As an Atheist, I can confirm that we LOVE Demon Hunter! Freedom of religion is as important now as it always has been.

I think there will be some fans that will not like this album because it is such a departure from the norm. Personally, I think Demon Hunter sounds great expanding out. I am really surprised at how good all of these tracks have been and how much variety that they have. I can't wait for the whole album to release. Hopefully DH has been holding back and saving the best for last. All of these tracks have been fantastic though!
I think all the fans that have been feeling “meh” about Demon Hunter since Extremist can finally enjoy something by then again with this new album. They needed to depart from that sound.
Yep I'm already not liking it, all the singles are ok but just not what I expect to hear from DH, especially this one. I really hope that they're just holding more "classic" DH bangers till release day
