I cross-stitched for years in the 70s/80s. Recently I got the bug and thought I wonder what’s on RUclips! Oh my goodness “Flosstube”!! I saw your video earlier on this Chatelaine (totally new to me) and I went to search all Chatelaine’s but this was my favorite. It came today! And this video was so helpful about the silks in the floss/silks list! Thank you! Feel better soon. (From Houston, TX)
Rene, isn't Flosstube fabulous?! It totally re-inspired my passion for stitching, which is good considering my stash fills up a good half of my craft room :-)) I'm so happy to find someone who is stitching this same Chatelaine. Be sure to keep your eyes on my channel for updates as they happen, and have fun stitching your Watergarden!
Enjoy your new bag - I have started making my own. I keep my Chatelaine in one too, but I had to supersize the bag pattern so that I could fit all the Chatelaine supplies in the one bag!
Glad you are feeling better! So many people so sick. The Mermaid is fabulous. I did one of the miribella wedding fairy years ago. Love your spirit and work!! Good luck with the beading! I dont like beading much! Hugs!
Thank you, Debbie. I will be updating as more beading is done, so you'll get to see her when she's all "bling-ed out."
Your chatelaine is beautiful,I have heard other people say the pattern is hard to read and complicated so I’m not ready for that ha ha the mermaid is lovely too x
I know this response is WAAAAAY overdue, but thank you for the kind words. I don't know if you've started tackling a Chatelaine yet, but I highly recommend getting a PDF pattern from them instead of using the paper chart. I never started stitching one until I bought a PDF version of the confusing paper pattern I already owned, and that was the turning point! With the colors and detailed breakdown of each section of the stitching, I was able to clearly understand the directions. You just slowly and methodically work your way through each section, and before you know it you're creating something truly gorgeous! Hope this encouragement helps 😊
@@inthecraftroom9724 I haven’t yet 😂thank you for the great tips and when I finally pluck up the courage I will get the PDF 😃x
