I remember this match.Under Radomir Antic as head coach Serbia played the most offensive football in our history.That is how football is supposed to be played. That German generation of WC 2010 was great but it peaked in Brazil four years later by winning the tournament.

Germany was a bit unlucky in this match despite having a solid defence, prolific strikers and fast players. But Serbia, no less determined and with some good forwards utilized every opportunities they had. As usual, Serbia was my favourite for this game, I could sense that they can make a surprise, and they did.
I still remember this match and the referee ruined this match by giving red card to Klose who was main goal scorer for Germany. Poor referee and poor decision making. And also Podalski was at his best and decided to hit the ball hard and wide.
I don't know about the first yellow card, but the second is well deserved: tackled from behind, hit on the leg and missed the ball. Seems an easy call for the referee, to me.
Its quite astonishing that Serbia were able to beat heavyweights Germany but lost to minnows Australia and Ghana at this tournament
