absolute legend man. not a freyed cable but an unplugged sensor. would not have figured it out except for this video!. thought i was having a blocked DPF and other issues. but was as simple as an unplugged sendsor that i found by following the cable
Thanks for this video. Just repaired the same fault on my 2016 2.0 TDCi MK 3.5 Focus. My fault was P2454, Low voltage on the DPF sensor. Stripped back the harness and found a complete break on the bend like in the video. I did everything the same as in the video and my mate cleared the code for me. All good. Many thanks.
Great video. This is exactly what is happening on my focus. Going to have a look at the loom today. If I don’t have a heat gun or soldering set can I just us a lighter to heat the joints?
I am struggling with a similar issue and the official dealer cannot do anything... They told me I had to replace the sensor- I did. Then they told me I have to replace the DPF (4000 Euros!)- I did. Faults still come up and now they tell me "Oh its an electrical issue". The faults I am getting are P2455-00, P 2455, P2453-00, P2453, P244A-00, P2454-00, P244A... Now they are telling me it needs a full electrical investigation that will cost thousands (thay have already done an "investigation" worth 700 Euros and somehow, with those errors, they determined it was a faulty DPF). No idea what to do anymore other than fighting with them for all the money spent...
😬 hard to say but they are a lot of other item that can cause the issue .. wiring .. 5th injector is really common (if it has one) also the temp sensors can affect it

👍👍 glad to help
Very common fault on these, iv had to repair 3 now. Great work.
👍👍
It really helped me to solve that issue on Ford Cmax! Thanks
Good video . Mine was the white wire / blue tracer on the actual plug itself
👍
i have a pressure of 0.00, but no fault code for this sensor. Fuel vaporiser is new.... So my next step is to check this sensor and wiring.
Great work bud
Thanks 👍
Proper oldskool spannering there. As good as the TopDon is, it won’t solder cables for you 😉
Haha 👍

Yeah you can , sometimes abit tricky though , you can just use crimp connectors if need be , I just prefer them solder joints as they seal nicely
@@diydaly great stuff thanks

What if those codes are intermittent and show up one day of the week?
