She decided to file this lawsuit after George Conway talked her into it at a function they both attended. They had to change the law in the state (but only a one-year window) to allow her to file, because the statute of limitations had long passed. At the time, lawsuits could only be filed within 3 years of the alleged attack. So, she was about three decades past the limitation for filing. (It's why Cuomo had to leave office, because the change in the law also allowed women to file suit against him.) Carrol's suit is being funded by Reid Hoffman, the co-founder of LinkedIn, a major donor to Democrats. Frankly, I don't believe her story. Since she says she can't remember the date of the alleged incident, or even what year it allegedly occurred, there is no way for the person she is accusing to even show they have an alibi.

Many years ago, I worked in a very high-end store where men were NEVER allowed in the dressing rooms where other ladies might be in a state of undress. Chairs outside the dressing rooms were provided for those people who accompanied the client. The only person admitted entrance to the dressing room was the saleslady or the dressmaker who was there to make alterations to the gown. Clients could emerge from the dressing room to show the gown to their family or friend, but NEVER was a man allowed across the threshold of the dressing rooms. Too, the clothing item was expensive and could be stolen, so salesladies had to keep a close eye on the dressing rooms. I think they need to check the rules that were in place in that high-end store 30 years ago. . . . I don't believe Mr. Trump is guilty!

It’s not even that… The whole point of winning a cases you either have to be guilty beyond all reasonable doubt, or you have to forfeit the case by noncompliance or refusal to show up to the court.

Who ever heard of Carroll before she started publicizing her book with its mention of an event that has never been heard by anyone ever before she decided to capitalize on it to promote a book? I do NOT trust her. Something is fishy in this. I believe she is not being forthright and honorable to anyone but herself. There is more to this and I don’t just ‘believe’, that, I know it.
I pray they don't reward this woman for her fictitious accusation

This happened to me when I was a teenager, I never reported it because I was a scared little girl. But if it had happened to me in my twenties or after, you better believe I would have reported it! And to this day, I remember every little detail even though I wish I didn't. To me, her demeanor seems way too happy for such a traumatic experience. For me, it was over 40 years ago, and it still bothers me like it happened yesterday. There's a lot off about her, sorry but I don't believe a word she's saying. She's doing this for the money $$$ Period!!
