Even for child chalazion I& C you do under GA😮, it's just a 5 minutes procedure you can assure the child and did it under just mild LA

This child was operated under inhalational anaesthesia.
I have seen little kids develop severe PTSD who were physically immobilised and forcefully operated upon under LA. Good luck assuring a 4 year old child; she won't even let you examine her on subsequent visits.
