Hi this is what you also need for countermeasures on all those spin that comes off the strings. What a great volley drill to show its implemented.
I have seen a 5.0 tennis player hit the same technique but didn’t know or grab a concept of how he did it until now. Thanks so much for this video. Very helpful
Thanks!! Played tennis 30 years solid 4.5….best explanation I have seen on this concept. Thanks Kevin!
By far the best video on the volley I've see. The instruction is in-depth, crystal clear and concise. Great job!
Fantastic tip. No one else that I know of has gone into the intricate detail that you have regarding the use of the bicep and tricep. Awesome.
Another great tip! I love how these small changes can go so far to make a difference.
Excellent tip. Thank you from Kosovo.
Loving the volley videos, keep em coming! 😆
You are a fantastic teacher!! Love your coaching techniques, thank you so much for your help!

Good lesson!
This is THE tennis channel.
Hey Kevin. Excellent instruction. Can you do something on the backhand volley?
My biggest weakness so I love watching these tips. I usually get to the net with a nice approach shot and blow my volleys.
Great vid. Another way you can do this while standing is to get your opposite arm to hold your racquet elbow in place. Also it would be better to stop at contact in the developing phase. It will help to have a cleaner center strike. JMHO.
I’d like to hear your approach on dealing with receiving the spin of the ball (top spin, slice) and does your approach differ to counter act the spin.
Thank you for the video. What are the settings on the ball machine when you do this drill? It would be helpful to know. Thanks
I have a Slinger as well. Please let us know Kevin
I assume that triceps extension also applies to the backhand volley. Correct?
Thanks Kevin. Is that a Slinger? If so, how would you compare that to the Tennis Tutor? I ask because I'm in the market for a good portable machine, but don't want to make the purchase twice.
Get the spin shot player
@@ZileleDinUrma Thank you!

How come no videos on 2 handed backhand
I want learn how tennis..
Using the chair to emphasize a point is music to our ears.
Im sitting watching this while drinking a beer, who knew how close that is to volley practice?
Confuse
No one with a good volley pops their elbow at the ball like that. The shoulder muscle is stronger. Watch the players you placed in your video
Good drill.... the problem is that your
" show and tell " is is not balanced ... you tend to talk too much and show little !!.... a video of 2 minutes should be enough man .
You talk to much friend, go to the point and do not repeat the wrong way over and over again.
Some of us need to hear it again and again. We like this repetition and benefit from it. Happy hitting!
