- Previously unseen in the UK this is the Gladiators: Springbok Challenge 2. The UK vs South African Gladiators special was recorded in 2000 and was only broadcast in South Africa. This is Part 1, Episode 1 of Gladiators: Springbok Challenge 2.

RIP Sahara. Show was never the same once she passed on.
Her funeral was at my school. There were thousands of people in attendance. Just thinking about it now makes me sad

I have a theory: at 14:09 Sahara took a pretty bad knock to the head. This look like it jolted her a bit. In some cases, a blow to the head can cause an aneurysm to develop. A little over a year later, Sahara collapsed in the gym with a burst aneurysm. She was healthy and this was very unexpected. A part of me feels this horrible blow to the head may have resulted in an aneurysm. It's just my theory though.
If you don’t know Michael’s hometown it’s often referred to as the Capital of South Africa, however it’s the Congress capital.
this is just awesome cause i am from the USA and this is just sweet as hell to see, do you have any of the ashes series (not in the multiple parts like on here broken down by game and not like you have in parts) that you could upload?

The UK gladiators Are wearin. There Old and New costumes, they Prob Just grabbed the First ones they could find, the uk show was finished at This Stage , so some of the uk gladiators went to south africa to do This finał Series
Fox and Gold Are fantastic New gladiators , Pity Gold was out With injury for her debut series, Fox was a Great selection, She and laser joined the south african gladiators,
Lightning Betts was a mother at that time so she couldn’t come.

Must have been confusing for SA viewers having a gladiator called Gold, then another one called Gold also representing the UK but is actually South African.
She didn’t qualify for MTN unlike Laser who was an IR. That’s why.

Love this line up of the female British Gladiators... I just wish every Gladiators names were unique and individual for every country, there no reason why they couldn't find original names.

Fox, Thunder, Siren, Ice, Gold, Fire, Vogue, Rio, Shadow, Nightshade and Lightning are hot. Sahara was also hot.

The South African contenders were the worst ever in both the Springboks and International series. Useless in other words. The Ashes and International 2 series was the best in my opinion.
USA had the best contenders for sure.
