The animation portrays the characters so well. Vegeta technically subclassing broly while broly just coming at him again and again with no regard for strategy is just pure fire.
These are supposed to be the 2 strongest Saiyans from birth with a battle IQ to match. Base Broly's power makes his multiplier insanely high, but Vegeta also being powerful, with the use of Many multipliers, should have had the strength to beat him in the end, logically. He's not as low as Goku.

I love that we actually get to see vegeta fight in a skilled way. He's always been a skilled fighter, going against much stronger enemies and doing damage, but we actually get to see his technique here.
Finally got to see Vegeta fight calmly. They always said he was a very smart and a skilled fighter but we hardly see it. It's either he overwhelms an opponent because hes way stronger or he shoots a ki blast thinking that it worked.
His greatest enemies are the ones who write the scenario and the ones who draw him. I remember only two moments when they made a fool out of Goku. First one was when he fought Android 19 and tried to use Kamehameha second time but Piccolo stopped him. Second moment was when Vegeta killed Pui Pui and Goku was totally happy with it. Now imagine Masashi Kishimoto making an idiot out of the mighty Sasuke in Naruto series.

Assationater that’s what a shonen jump movie is all about, besides it’s dragonball. Where most of the show and story is centered around fighting, with cool animations and very awesome handiwork!
Reason Tarzan is adapting so fast to the Saiyan, is that , all his life , Broly has been adapting to enemies/obstacles in unhabitable planet, this making him a natural survivor.
That would be actually a really cool definitive ending for the Dragon Ball series: King Vegeta and Bardock watching their sons, really proud. King Piccolo, Raditz and Nappa, Zarbon, the Ginyu forces, Cell, and all the enemies that once put Goku and Vegeta in serious trouble or even beat them, impressed with their power, totally out of their league... I would be satisfactory.
imagine: it would be so cool if they payed a lot more attention to the scale of their power (SS goku when fighting frieza was close to speed of light) and so when they break something while fighting, it starts destroying only after the fight or when they stop fighting for a talk (because the way it's showed in the video - the exploding ice shards - must be as fast as light as well (or how fast they currently are... which for sure doesn't make sense too but whatever). so like, they destroy bunch of things, stop, and everything starts to blow up.
DB was never this good. Fast paced with well though out fighting sequences that show actual distinctive moves for every character and to top it all, beautifully animated. Everything that every saga in the anime has lacked in one form or another.
I like the fact that Vegeta finally got his moment to have a good fight without getting bodied. I can count on my hand how many times that gets to happen.
Best animation and choreography I've seen in an anime movie I also watched Heaven's Feel and most fight scenes on there are just flashing beams with zero choreography
Both the animation and sound design is absolutely beautiful. Then again, this is a movie so the budget will be higher. I just wish the show looked like this, it's why they're doing with Attack on Titan.
just imagine if the entirety of dragon ball had this much animation budget. this is so much better than the usual black doodles against blue background and 3 frame "i'm punching your fists" animation that plagues this series and makes me forget that these people can actually fight rather than just bash heads like boars, that it doesn't register as dragon ball in my brain.

Super Saiyan God is a more agile, defensive form. It shows so well when Vegeta transforms and begins to avoid Broly's hits for arguably the first time in the whole clip.
Love how the scene alone describes Vegeta's fighting style : technique, ruthless, adaptative, and highly versatile. Man calms his anger in seconds (which he was unable to few years ago) to transform into Super Saiyan God when he feels Broly's powering up too fast for regular Super Saiyan. He is still our stubborn prince, but with a huge experience that helps him now.
Also the fact Vegeta's at his most entertaining when he is the dominant force. It's fun to watch Goku fight an uphill battle against a vastly superior opponent, but Vegeta is vastly more enjoyable to watch when he's in total control.

The amount of detail in the art is incredible. Notice when Vegeta goes Super Saiyan his expression is fierce and scowling, but when he goes Super Saiyan God his expression softens up and looks a lot more calm. It's a great callback to the aesthetic and feel Toriyama had for the form back in Battle of Gods.
Kid, that's because super saiyan is the angry raw form of the anal instincts . Super saiyan God is when u master ur emotions and don't need to get mad to be strong. U obviously don't fight huh. When u take martial arts classes they teach u to not fight angry .u have to be calm and in control

I love how they finally showed my boy the respect he deserves. After Z where he constantly got stomped like he was nothing this is so refreshing. Vegeta is the only character who had a real story arc going from villain to hero.
For real, I've said this before but the Freiza saga in DBZ, which let's face it is the most awesome, is actually about Vegeta. Even the first sayain saga of DBZ is nothing without Vegeta.
I have a lot of respect for That Vegeta (Freiza and Sayjin saga). He had to come a long ways to get where he is. Vegeta is an offensive powerhouse….his biggest weakness is that he has the fighting depth of his actual size. He’s gotta plan and outskill his opponents cuz after he takes a few hits his confidence drops and he’s very quickly the underdog. Meanwhile, even tho Goku gets tons of asspulls, he can take a good amount fighting and keep getting back into it. The Buu saga was a good example. We know Vegeta was at least SSj2 Goku level during that fight, but his confidence was so shot that he became useless during the fight with Kid Buu. Meanwhile Goku went out there with that dancing acrobatic SSj2 and made a good showing before going to SSj3.

Super Saiyan God is a more agile, defensive form. It shows so well when Vegeta transforms and begins to avoid Broly's hits for arguably the first time in the whole clip.
Love how the scene alone describes Vegeta's fighting style : technique, ruthless, adaptative, and highly versatile. Man calms his anger in seconds (which he was unable to few years ago) to transform into Super Saiyan God when he feels Broly's powering up too fast for regular Super Saiyan. He is still our stubborn prince, but with a huge experience that helps him now.

This was the most ive ever seen Vegetas fighting style perfected on screen. Calm, cocky, and technical.
Also the fact Vegeta's at his most entertaining when he is the dominant force. It's fun to watch Goku fight an uphill battle against a vastly superior opponent, but Vegeta is vastly more enjoyable to watch when he's in total control.

The amount of detail in the art is incredible. Notice when Vegeta goes Super Saiyan his expression is fierce and scowling, but when he goes Super Saiyan God his expression softens up and looks a lot more calm. It's a great callback to the aesthetic and feel Toriyama had for the form back in Battle of Gods.

Kid, that's because super saiyan is the angry raw form of the anal instincts . Super saiyan God is when u master ur emotions and don't need to get mad to be strong. U obviously don't fight huh. When u take martial arts classes they teach u to not fight angry .u have to be calm and in control

The OP most likely knows that ssg needs you to be calm and collected to actually transform, and even if he doesn't, it's not an excuse to call him a kid. Also, i don't think you need to understand martial arts in order to understand the concept of db transformations.
I love how they finally showed my boy the respect he deserves. After Z where he constantly got stomped like he was nothing this is so refreshing. Vegeta is the only character who had a real story arc going from villain to hero.

For real, I've said this before but the Freiza saga in DBZ, which let's face it is the most awesome, is actually about Vegeta. Even the first sayain saga of DBZ is nothing without Vegeta.
I have a lot of respect for That Vegeta (Freiza and Sayjin saga). He had to come a long ways to get where he is. Vegeta is an offensive powerhouse….his biggest weakness is that he has the fighting depth of his actual size. He’s gotta plan and outskill his opponents cuz after he takes a few hits his confidence drops and he’s very quickly the underdog. Meanwhile, even tho Goku gets tons of asspulls, he can take a good amount fighting and keep getting back into it. The Buu saga was a good example. We know Vegeta was at least SSj2 Goku level during that fight, but his confidence was so shot that he became useless during the fight with Kid Buu. Meanwhile Goku went out there with that dancing acrobatic SSj2 and made a good showing before going to SSj3.
This movie was one of the most euphoric in-theater experiences I've ever had.
