At the very least, it might make a great foot amputation device.

I think a lower profile design (lower center of gravity) would make it a lot safer as well as a full cage around the prop

You would typically ride a snowboard just on its edge. With the whole surface area planted flat on the snow, you're either getting too much 'grip' in powder, or it gets very unstable at speed, since it constantly switches from one edge to another. You may want to mount the rear snowboards at an angle to try it out. Not sure how much do you want to over-engineer it, but it probably would make a lot of sense to build some kind of a suspension that would pivot the boards while cornering. That would require you to lean on it to turn, but may be a lot of fun too!

"but I do have this spare paramotor engine." things I wish I could say.

Wax the skis. Just a thought...Also, adding suspension to at least the rear skis would greatly help in cornering. Looks like total fun. I'd ride that for a dollar.

I would like to see a more "complete version" of this concept. Like putting fins on the back after fully enclosing the prop in a cage. In theory the handling should become much smoother. Also a vibration damper between the prop and the engine output would probably help heaps! Other then that id say great video!

Very nice garage fabricating, I wish more young people would be involved in this sort of thing and actually lean stuff. Beyond the mechanical skills there is plenty of crude engineering. Well done.

I’m about the exact opposite of an expert, but I think this thing would definitely benefit from a much lower seating position. More of a sit in it than on it situation like a drift trike.

Not trash. This is a great beginning to a new more viable project. Keep it up. Nice work.

Love the crazy fun and would love to see the snow bike make another appearance. A few things, it looked like you put the ribs on with blunt leading edges, get out the grinder… and for a bit more stability increase the stance of the rear skis. But you already know all that…

I've considered replacing my moped front wheel with a snowmobile ski for a snowped, but I'm not sure my knobby rear tire would be enough

Great project! Next time have a seated position lower to the ground. This has great promise!

I was wondering if anyone has ever tried to make anything like this. I should have known it would be you!! Thank you for doing what you do!!

Got some ideas for improving stability: make it a bit longer so the weight is more central and less over the rear "axle". Also it might help if you angle the back skiis inwards a little so they ride on the inner edge when going straight but let the craft tip slightly outwards whilst still being controlable when cornering. Lastly the horizontal bar connecting the rear sleds seams like it would probably destroy your feet when you touch the ground. Oh, and a break could benefit security.
