I think you are truly blessed to have all this time for your own garden. When you get back to work as usual, your garden will be a place of peaceful repose because you won’t be stressing about not having time for it. At least for a while! The colored balls look fine where they are but you can move them anytime and anywhere inspiration moves you. I am really enjoying this garden renovation process! I need this right now!!
I love how you share your tips but you are also so sweet and thoughtful about your followers, how wonderful to embrace this time and enjoy what needs doing in your own garden, very different to a paid installation with your team, this is personal and wonderful xx
I could watch 3 hours of you and your garden straight. I love your channel, your attitude and how beautiful your garden is. Without a doubt your succulent garden is the most beautiful one in its type. Sending good vibes to you and your loved ones. ❤
Walk about Wednesday is perfect. Love how you are transforming your garden. The balls look great in the Dyamondia. We have pretty much used all the rock, pebbles and cuttings we have on hand. We are also grateful for this time to slow down and take stock of what is really important in our lives. The only hard part is not physically seeing our kids and grands. Thank you for the bit of joy each day watching your videos. Bentley was really enjoying the alyssum!! 🥰
I’m glad for this time as well. I know that a lot of people have been negatively impacted in several ways, but in the grand scheme of things I feel that the nation and the world will benefit from this if we let it.
It's so cool that your own yard is giving you so many projects to fill your time and feed your creativity. I can only hope that some day my garden will be so lush.
Bentley’s Bathroom will be raided for stones... The glass balls look so fabulous! That is one giant pile of succulent stems and cuttings. Your videos are very positive, and humorous, 😍I love them!
I so love your garden! You just have a magical touch! I was sharing one of your videos and she said “ Now Mama don’t you go out there and kill the few plants that you have! Because you would get upset.” I had to laugh at her but little does she know I am going to try some things you showed!!! Lol l so love you Laura and how you have a relationship with your plants! Ty for sharing
What about posting on your neighborhood app.? If anyone has free rocks that you could pickup for free? Or can you use some small seashells for rocks? Or breakup some brick or concrete for rock? Love your new segment, "Walk About Wednesday!" Love your daily reflections as well!
Love your videos. Sending love from Las Vegas❤By the way , I cleaned up a corner in my backyard as a designated garden of death for my plants😉 Thanks to you.
You’re the best teacher Laura! Thank you for sharing your knowledge with us! I have learned a lot from your videos. I don’t have Instagram, but I’ll join and upload pictures of my garden. Love your garden!❤️❤️
I’ve got a Truly in my hand. Incense burning. Just chilling in my backyard looking over all the progress I’ve made today. And enjoying your video for the day. Thank you for sharing your passion with us.
I love these videos lately Laura 😀 I’m doing the same with cleaning my hot messes and re-purposing stuff I am getting from the clean up. Feels so gooooddd !!!
Wow. You are a great inspiration on getting me motivated.. went out today to Morning Sun Herb Farm (Vacaville,CA)Lots of succulents ,California natives, citrus trees, vegetables and more. It was senior day on Wednesday and saved 10%, yeah. I wore my mask and everyone was a a moose distance apart.😊
You've inspired me to tackle my unruly entrance beds of plumbago, gardinia, and jasmines to succulents. They'll get potted up and displayed around my pool instead. I think I want several balls of green jade as a loose hedge with blue fingers, aloes (etc) as accents. Consider me dangerously inspired!
Was just flipping through Deborah Lee Baldwin's "Designing With Succulents" book, and on p. 57, low and behold, it's Laura's backyard pond and waterfall in what must have been its original state! It's so fun to see Laura explore and reimagine the space. I swoon over all the fabulous plants she is unearthing. Do you still have the cute turtle statue I see in the lower left of that photo? Or is he still buried or perhaps found a different home.
I miss Laura is all beautiful amazed I hope that one day after everything you can help me out with some succulent I am willing to buy them you have a wonderful and blessed day
Laura I appreciate you sharing your yard with us. Your taste is amazing, it looks like you have a new yard. Out of curiosity, when you expose some of the larger plants, because the bottom is not "protected" by the smaller succulents, so, could they be damaged? Thanks.
Morning, Laura! I loved the tour and updates to how the garden is doing. For posting pics, can we do that on Facebook as well? I don't do instagram. :-/ i wouldn't be able to keep up!
I haven't checked if you have a video on aloe vera arrangements but I would like to see it if you don't! I have a lot but don't know what to do with them to make them cuter on their own.
Althea C demo is a necessary evil yet an important component of my “process” Since I don’t draw, I need time for my vision to bubble up. I’ll keep an eye on those balls to be sure that they don’t reflect too much heat. They are sitting on a flagstone.
I love your garden.Im planning to have succulent garden but Is your place experienced winter too? I hope you will answer my question. Thank you. I subscribe too.
You can always get rid of excess plants or swap them for new ones on plantswap.org It's a super neat website that you should definitely check out Laura!
Rj Thomsen treat once in spring and again in fall. Spot treat infected area once a week with sevin dust for a WHILE until you are confident that you got it all!
Okay Laura! I’m committing to start posting pictures of my succulent obsession... so get ready! And know that you have been the force behind my work in the yard. See you on instagram...Caligal57.
literally my daily motivation is to wake up knowing that today you will upload a preview of your garden 🤣
Love the balls just sitting on the grass like plants. Looks great !

Love the spider-like pot! I wonder where you got it!
Bobbie Galindo I think I picked that up at Halloween time at Pier One five or six years ago. It’s so cute, I’ve just let it ride out there all year!
WE NEED LONGER VIDEOS, all love❤

Good morning.
I haven't checked if you have a video on aloe vera arrangements but I would like to see it if you don't! I have a lot but don't know what to do with them to make them cuter on their own.
PorcelainPurple it pairs VERY well with kalenchoe Luciae.
When you fill in around the rocks, have ever thought of using sempervivums?
Kathy Gerdes oh they will turn to dust in her climate. 🥴 but it would be beautiful
Hi Laura what’s your least favorite part of demo? Will the glass balls reflect the sun onto the ground cover ( Dimondia?)? Otherwise I love them out!
Althea C demo is a necessary evil yet an important component of my “process”
Since I don’t draw, I need time for my vision to bubble up.
I’ll keep an eye on those balls to be sure that they don’t reflect too much heat. They are sitting on a flagstone.
Are those California Sunset in the front of the pond? Love those! Just ordered 40 new succulents yesterday. Oh! Question...how close is too close?
Lvmyblu never too close😊
Omg one of my aloe has that stuff on them I didn't know what it was.. how do they get that aloe mite... one day it just was there... . ...
