In our home it simply isn't Christmas until the needle hits the groove on an Amy Grant song. So many memories treasured and shared to the sound of her music. What a gift to unwrap her holiday hits and adorn the season with the magic of her lovely voice and beautiful spirit year after year.
~ I'm a tremendous fan of Amy's going 40+ years! She is such an amazing person and so inspiring in so many ways. Amy IS the Queen of Christmas with a blend of classic songs and her own fun songs and spiritual songs that she's written. And one thing she mentioned is something I have ALWAYS done my whole life. Plug in my beautiful Christmas tree.....light a few candles around the room...get my big cup of hot chocolate....... put on Amy's Christmas music,and some classics I grew up with and some beautiful all instrumental music......and I close my eyes and just melt into the music. Only for me it's no less then an hour at least that I do this for. It's so calming and relaxing and it fills you with such a wonderful Christmas spirit.
