I think it would be foolish of any African country at this point to NOT want to join this alliance, because clearly, they have started something that is going to be very impactful and beneficial for themselves. I still think some African countries are "waiting it out", in terms of joining the alliance, perhaps just to see how long they last on their own or the long-term consequence (be it good or bad) of their actions.
