This just proves how annoying Daymond John is. I really hope they replace him. He just talks to flex or give the Entrepreneur a bad deal. At the end of a long spiel, he's just out. Then when other Sharks are making an offer, he keeps interrupting even if he's out. Just shut up if you're not in. He just wants screen time.

Daniel offer was probably gonna be 12-15% equity and offered him $150k-200k. Either way, he got a good deal.
I understand they are sharks, but i think they should all be allowed to make an offer and then they can start battling. It's so unfair really to the unexperienced person to be forced or threatened really to take an offer and be told deal is off if you even entertain another shark.
I agree, and I think most of time, when the sharks are unambiguously interested, the entrepreneur can get away with calling their bluff, but it is tricky.
They can say, "it's an interesting offer Mark, and I respect if you don't want continue the negotiation, but Daniel, what is your offer?". This direct question brings Daniel in before Mark is able to issue another threat, so he can just stew while the second negotiation goes on. Getting Mark in again later is possible as long as it's framed as a new deal.
Exactly. Folks need to watch this show and the ball is in their court to be the moderator. When the sharks all fight like children that is the oppurtunity to take control and ask a direct question to the shark that is sitting on the sidelines waiting to say something. Pass the baton as soon as possible because then Mark and Lori can't play their pressure game and say they are out when the competition has spoken. @@tradfluteman
I hate when they use these manipulative tactics to prevent a person from talking to the other Sharks. Let the man talk to everybody. I hope this business is extremely successful. I'll buy one.

i don’t like that in some episodes all the sharks respect each other and get all their offers out before giving the entrepreneur the time to think about everything and counter. but then other episodes (this one) they give him an ultimatum while the other sharks have their mouthes stapled shut. it really makes the show inconsistent and annoying to watch sometimes.
The entrepreneur did the valuation literally the way every other entrepreneur does it. Why did Daymond take it so damn personally?
This should be part of a negotiation course. He never let Daniel speak even though he knew an offer was coming. He could have just stayed quiet, hear Daniel and use the input as leverage to better his position.

How is that manning up? He was bullied into taking the first offer and he never even heard the offer from an actual ICE CREAM COMPANY that produces and distributes the very product his entire business is based on. This is what y'all refer to as manning up these days? God help us all

If they really wanted the deal they would wait for the guy to listen to Daniel’s offer and maybe even lower their offer to compete w/ Daniel. I think the cost is way too high. A lot of people would love this product, (who doesn’t want to eat ice cream on the go and not have it melt?) but I would definitely not pay over $25 let alone above $40 for it. He needs to lower cost to get more customers on board.

I disagree. This reminds me of Hydroflasks which are around the same price point. Plus it's a one-time purchase and you don't have to freeze it.

The economy would be more stable if people didn't expect 5-10 times returns. It's just the truth. People are motivated to chase high returns because they are mortals and dont want to wait for investment but in reality this ultimately destroys both the society and the free market. Do you know how you get communism? Crashing Capitalism. Which is exactly what this line of reasoning will eventually lead us.

Just ordered mine yesterday with a custom laser engraving😊🍦 I also take ice cream very seriously😂 and getting it safely from the store to my home is a real problem, especially in the summer (because I do my shopping trips on foot). Sure, the shipping fees to Finland hurt a bit😅, but it felt really awesome to show my support to both one of my all time favorite TV shows, as well as a great entrepreneur!🫶🏻

Most of these deals dont go thru anyway. Its a place to see new products but the business side of this show is total bs. Ive pitched in front of this level of invester. They do not act like children in a real meeting.

It's reality tv, dude. Producers tell the sharks how to act. It NEEDS drama to be on television. And there's no way you've pitched in front of multiple billionaires/millionaires. But even if you did, I'm sure they didn't act like they do in the tank. You probably also weren't on reality television.
