Why hasn't Day9 ever been on this show? He is super entertaining as a caster, so he'd be even more entertaining as a contestant, I imagine!
He was on our Tavern Trivia during BlizzCon. Id love to have him on one of our SS proper shows though but he's a busy dude.
Ya, I reckoned as much. He could be on the show if it was instead of one of his streams, though. It's not like he streams for a living, it's probably more like recreation for him :D Also, thanks for the reply! (didn't know about Tavern Trivia, gonna look it up)

Maybe if in "Spot the Error" somebody buzzes in, you should hide the cards, therefor you can't just buzz in and search the answer afterward.
I would like in "Cardology" to see a picture of the card instead just the cardname.
And there should be more twitch chat says. Thats the best mode, period!
all the wrong cards in round three have the classic back

Also these cards have different mana crystal sprites from the correct cards. Small detail but some can abuse.
I was going to comment that - good spot. I thought originally on one of them that the error was the classic back, but then I realised that it was for all of them.
Also the size of the mana symbol (behind the cost number) is smaller/darker in color tone. Something about it is off.
Wait what does this mean
Too bad no one guessed ''Trade prince gallywix'' at the fourth Cardology question. Only the fourth hint secured togwaggle
Hint 3 would be a pretty big stretch for Prince but I could see it. Gallywix was on my mind as a jebait.

Hey love the show but isn't it nicer to also see the card instead of only the name in the first category: cardology. We are not all hearthstonepros and dont know all the cards by name. So it would be nice to see the cards!
Yea we've talked about and you're not the only one that's requested it. We've tried it but it looks awkward, but we'll keep playing around with layouts so see if we find a good one.
ChanmanV how about a resize of clues on reveal with card shown on the right. ^_^ (you could have a static image as a reveal with the card variable while keeping the usual setup for the rest. ^_^

the swamp king dread had the wrong symbol under the card text, it showed that it was from the classic set when it is from ungoro
never mind, all the cards that had the error in them have the classic symbol even though the real version doesnt
I got the "I'm ready, I'm not ready" I'm so proud of myself jsksks
In the spot the error segment, all the wrong cards were also printed as classic set card
There's an easy give away in spot the error, the "Water Mark" is wrong with all of them...
**Long Post, Game-Breaking Oversight in Spot the Difference**
I don't know if this has been noticed by anyone, but in the Spot The Difference section it's VERY easy to know which cards are editted because they have the wrong symbol embossed into the card that would normally mark that card's expansion, e.g. Servant of Kalimos does not have the foot-print that would be behind its cardtext that shows it's from un'goro, instead it has the classic set symbol because it was made using a card generator.
In the future, it would be better to use that card generator for all the cards, so that at least it would be impossible to tell immediately what was editted. Unless it's possible for the card generator ti accurately change the markings under the card text (footprint for un'goro, lich king helmet for frozen throne, etc.) .

there is a problem with the spot a difference where the wrong card while also having the wrongness is also a classic card and not what set it is actually from
All the changed cards in "Spot the Error" have the classic set symbol behind the text, so it can be guessed instantly
“Spot the Error” is currently my favorite contest of the bunch. I know that the mistake of set watermarks has been acknowledged, but there’s also the problem with the Mana Crystals (and name font, I think, it seemed noticeable in an earlier episode with the Unidentified Mauls).
I also think that altercations to the card art could be fun as long as they’re substantial yet not too easy. Change in hue of certain parts and such.
And, finally, perhaps the tactic to buzz in fast and then take time to find the answer could be hampered by hiding the cards from whomever hit the buzzer. This could perhaps be applied to other buzzing contests, too?
Either way, nice episode, it’s great hearing Peter Whalen join in like that.
I had the reaction on spot the error, the watermark is wrong on that one, and I assumed that was the problem.

That first card error... my first thought was "truesilver has the wrong stats!... and mana cost... and name... oh."
actully at "spot the error" you can see which card is wrong by just looking for the watersign

I feel like a turn timer would be useful to stop people (Toast) from buzzing in and then taking a full 45 seconds to answer; not only does it make it frustrating to watch but it slows down the flow of the stream
Coming back to this its weird how ppl are saying they are sick of Toast being there all the time but when he is not there, the viewership drops so they have no choice but to bring him back lol

What I'm surprised about is the fact that no one uses the card effect for drawing in the artstone round. Draw a board, and show what it does on that board

All the "spot the cards" that were altered have the classic symbol, regardless of the set they were printed in.
The error custom cards you created don’t have the correct set logo on the card art which bugs me a lot and would be an easy giveaway to spot the fake cards

Having watched all the Hearthstone showdowns I must say I'm not a fan of Dank Memes. The idea is fun, but it has always been too meta, people always figure out who made what and vote for their favorite streamer instead of voting for the memes. Wouldn't miss this segment even if it was gone for good.
Toast shouldn't have mentioned himself, but I do know what you mean. We're going to add even more of an interactive element with Twitch chat in the near future I think you guys will enjoy. Let's just say there may be some power ups in the future.
Actually it's mostly not about Toast mentioning himself :) There are, idk, "meme patterns"? haha, I don't know if you could say that but it becomes easy to realize who made what joke, just from reading it. I just don't quite like that the segment that awards a giant amount of points is turning into popularity contest so much.

Well experience played a huge role there. Peter and Dreads have never done any of the segments and our segment order has flow in mind. Toast was just at an advantage purely because of his familiarity of the games.

Mr.Destructiod #3317 Kripp has a very small active community compared to toast.
This happens every time with the meme segment. Toast has the largest twitch following so it doesn’t even matter what he makes, he always wins because it’s easy to tell which is his and his followers vote for him. Makes the segment way less enjoyable and not fair for the other competitors.
