    The next best contribution came from bat vice-captain Harry Brook who made 37 off 36. England were bowled out 251 their second innings. Asitha Fernando Lahiru Kumara picked up three wickets each while Milan Rathnayake Prabath Jayasuriya got two scalps apiece. Sri Lanka had chase 483 runs level series but they fell short by 190 runs.
