If you're a fan of nuclear,, the small nuclear power plants described here is a logical progression to more efficient and economical designs. But, cheaper and possibly even safer doesn't address the core problem of using conventional fission technology... disposal of nuclear waste. In this video he says that the refueling problem is solved but I think he means it's not as onerous and dangerous a problem as in conventional large reactors. It still has to happen but I think he's saying that the fueling and refueling process is modular and easily removable and replaceable. The problem remains what to do with the spent nuclear waste for the next 500 years minimum and possibly many times longer. And the same problem exists when the plant is decommissioned. Hopefully the modular design limits exposure to contamination but a conventional nuclear reactor regularly takes over 10 years to clean up when it's shut down. Until these problems are solved, nuclear is just creating an expensive and difficult problem for someone else. Maybe it's less environmentally damaging in the short run but the long term consequences are significant and to some degree very, very costly.

AI is revolutionizing the world in ways we have never seen before, and it can unlock new possibilities, insights, and advantages for us. However, AI also comes with significant challenges. It can amplify our creativity, productivity, and innovation, but it can also raise ethical and social dilemmas for human creators, consumers, and regulators. Current AI is a powerful tool that can be wielded for good or evil, and it is our responsibility to shape its future. Future AI, however, will be a force for good, a force as ubiquitous as electricity today.
The whole Hydrogen thing is great, but not for vehicles (cars, buses, etc). It would require a whole new expense to build stations and deliver the Hydrogen, just to cost the consumer more than straight electricity. Hydrogen only works in certain situations like steel making and such. The cost of converting such processes actually makes sense since it's a drastic CO2 producer, and can be managed with very little change in the system framework.
Forward full speed into the future without knowing or seeing the road. There may not be anything destructive coming in the opposite direction, but there may not need to be.

The comments re Tesla is very biased. Forbes should look into Copenhagen Atomics because their modular nuclear reactors use molten salts and operate as waste reactors so they're not only a lot safer, the spent fuel decays in 300 years as opposed to 100,000 years and it's fuel cycle will allow small amounts of the hazardous stuff we struggle to store (for 100,000 years) to be added to these reactors reducing it down to hazardous waste that would now decay in 300 years. If Last Energy's reactors go off the rails they melt down and explode contaminating the environment and could possibly kill a lot of people. 10's of thousands of modular standard fission reactors spread out across our country sounds like a recipe for disaster. If Copenhagen Atomics reactor's go off the rails, the molten salts cool down and the process just stops. I'm confused why European countries are working with this company when CA offers a safer product. He hasn't even built a reactor yet. Forbes needs to look into Copenhagen Atomics
