- fishing the river severn at Trimley first time on this part. river was really low so I packed in fishing and took the chance to look around. for future fishing adventures down this part.
Great video. I live 2 miles from Trimpley. As kids we used to sledge down the big grass bank that you walked down at the start before you cross the railway line. A frien and me also fly our drones from the beach you were fishing on 👍👍
I'm really glad i watched this video, i had been thinking of giving Trimpley a go, had never been there, didn't know what the walk was like etc.. and then came across this video but after seeing a young
chap like Mick struggling i think that walk would just about kill me off, no way could i do that.. i'm nearly 70 and had a heart bypass. not for me!

If you park in Arley it is a flat walk downriver to that spot and you pass some interesting swims on route, nice video Mick.

Mick both those pegs at Trimley produce good bags of fish , fished them for over 40 years, try them again hemp and meat best

Another great vid mate! I’m on my annual trip up to the Severn in a month so good to see what the river is like at the moment.
keep the videos coming mick. are you aware bewdley tackle sell day ticket for opposite bank? you can drive to river side, and park up. the farmhouse was on the opposite bank when you first got to victoria bridge.

You can park at Victoria bridge Mick. We've got a couple of days booked at the end of the month, but we'll fish down stream pegs 11 - 20. Praying for some rain before we go.

I was on trimply res in the 80s loved place hope thay still keep the catch records there 😁
They had a match on the res m8 that's all I know 👍🎣
next time try north wood lane in bewdley and walk up stream. it's a bit longer but there no hills. baa's got a cracking stretch there

Nice bit off water but keep away on bank holidays
@@leftmono1016 Mostly a nightmare as get loads of dog walkers/ramblers and only parking for about 5 cars and some one now saying you can’t park there if your in the BAA
@@daz3434 - cheers mate, I mostly lure fish for pike in the colder months so will stick to Upper Arley. Plenty of water there on both sides.
